Kourtney Kardashian And Scott Disick Are Back Together? Not Quite [Debunked]

Multiple sources claimed yesterday that exes Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian are back together, and by “together,” they meant that the pair have rekindled their romance.

Unfortunately (at least for those who have been rooting for the couple to get back together), an insider for TMZ claimed that Disick and Kardashian aren’t back together yet. Well, the part saying that the two have been spending plenty of time together is true. But romantically speaking? They’re not quite there yet.

At least fans of the couple can take heart from the fact the 33-year-old entrepreneur has been putting in a herculean effort to win Kourtney back. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Scott Disick has “mellowed out a lot and hasn’t been partying.” Considering Disick’s reputation for clubbing, you have to give it to him for curbing his ways so he could win Kardashian’s heart again.

But for now, Scott Disick is still living in a separate house from Kourtney Kardashian and their three children. It’s not so bad, however, as the former couple are able to set aside their differences so they can do their duties as parents to their three kids. In the year and a half since their breakup, the two have gone on numerous trips together — not as a couple, but as co-parents.

Reconciliation rumors have cropped up numerous times in the last several months, even more so when the pair were spotted vacationing in Mexico last month, in which Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were getting cozier than usual with each other.

Meanwhile, Disick admitted that he is on a mission to win back his ex-girlfriend of nine years as he recently moved back to the mansion he previously shared with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star and their three children before the split occurred.

“Kourtney is very encouraged to see how much he has been trying,” according to a source, as reported by Mirror.

Ms. Kardashian, however, said that she isn’t ready to get back with her former partner until she’s certain that he’s “fully committed” to their family.

“She got screwed over by Scott so many times in the past. Kourtney is still protecting herself,” another source explained. “She doesn’t want to say that they are back together until she knows for sure that Scott is fully committed to his family. But so far so good. Scott has been amazing to Kourtney, and she is very happy.”

Scott can at least take comfort from Kourtney’s words from a January interview with Ellen DeGeneres, in which she said that Mr. Disick will always be family to her and that she’ll never rule out the possibility of rekindling what they have lost.

“I feel like every day is different, but we’re totally getting along. Like, we have three beautiful kids together…But, you know, he’s family. He’ll always be,” she said.

After his split with Kourtney last year, Disick admitted himself to a rehabilitation center so he can kick his partying habit. It’s been a struggle, and he has had quite a few lapses, which is why Kourtney is hesitant about taking a chance on him again, knowing the risks involved in regards to their family. But as far as intentions go, Disick’s heart is in the right place. In fact, he broke down when he was confronted by Khloe Kardashian about how his drinking and partying were affecting the family. The emotional exchange was aired in a past episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

“I’m sure you guys have heard a lot of horrible things about me that I should have just been honest with, but I was too ashamed that I was going to hurt everybody in this family and not just her [Kourtney]. I’ve apologized to Kourtney a hundred times, but I’ve never apologized to like all of you for letting all of you down and embarrassing you guys … I understand I need to help myself before I can help her or my kids.”
