‘Days Of Our Lives’: Stefano Wanted Hope Brady To Kill Him? Rafe And Shawn’s Investigation Leads To DiMera Doctor [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives fans remember when Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) killed Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). For months, the crime was kept a secret until Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) got his hands on a recording of Hope confessing to the murder. Now, she is in prison, but her loved ones have not given up. Spoilers reveal that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will search for a way to get Hope released from prison. It leads them to Stefano’s doctor and results in an interesting theory.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Galen Gering revealed that Rafe will try to save Hope from spending 25 years in prison. Although the Days Of Our Lives actor could not reveal how, it’s hard to imagine that Hope will spend a quarter of a century behind bars. How will she manage to get free? It turns out that Rafe and Shawn are going to be on the case and they will come up with some interesting discoveries.

According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Rafe and Shawn ask Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) for access to Stefano’s emails. Surprisingly, Chad agrees. While going over the documents, they come across emails between Stefano and his doctor. Then, they ask Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) for help. They find the doctor and Chad DiMera goes with them to question the physician, Beemer explained.

“They turn to Kate because she was married to Stefano and might know of his doctor. He confirms that Stefano was terminally ill.”

Armed with this new information, Rafe and Shawn have a theory that Stefano might have wanted Hope to kill him. This isn’t too far-fetched. As fans recall, Stefano was really egging Hope on when she questioned him. Even when she had the gun, he taunted Hope and insulted Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) memory. Even after she shot him, he continued laughing, which was a strange reaction.

However, Rafe and Shawn only have a theory and no solid proof. It will be difficult to get Hope out of prison based on speculation and without any evidence to back up their claim.

“It’s a pretty tough scenario to prove, but it gives Shawn hope that maybe he can rescue his mom.”

Other Days Of Our Lives spoilers include Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) trying to speculate on the identity of the father of Chloe’s (Nadia Bjorlin) baby. Also, Chad will visit Hope in prison, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will find out that JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) is keeping another secret, and Adrienne (Judi Evans) gets a cancer diagnosis.

On December 9, expect to see Eve Donovan (Kassie de Paiva) return to Salem. Glee actress Dot-Marie Jones will make her debut as Chillie. She will play a prison inmate that is hired to protect Hope. Larry Poindexter will reprise his role as Father Thomas and will talk to Adrienne. Jordi Vilasuso, who plays Dario, will have scenes with a new character named Myron, portrayed by Craig Welzbacher. As for who is leaving Days Of Our Lives, get ready to say goodbye to Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). His exit storyline begins next week.
