‘Teen Mom 2’ Jenelle Evans Is Reportedly Heading Back To Court For Sole Custody Of Son Kaiser

Jenelle Evans of Teen Mom 2 is reportedly heading back to court in the hope of gaining full custody of her 2-year-old son, Kaiser.

According to a new report, Jenelle Evans and her former fiancé, Nathan Griffith, currently split custody of their child, but recently, the pregnant reality star filed a motion in hopes of having their agreement modified and being awarded sole physical custody of Kaiser.

On December 2, Radar Online revealed that Jenelle Evans had told the court that she believes her former partner is “unfit” to parent their son.

“Defendant communicated to plaintiff that defendant’s mental health is not stable and that he is unable to care for the minor child,” Jenelle Evans’ attorney reportedly wrote in court documents.

“Defendant communicated to plaintiff that he has plans to move out of the country in the near future,” the documents alleged, adding that Griffith reportedly “has multiple pending criminal charges.”

While it was Jenelle Evans who was recently accused of using drugs during a past taping of a Teen Mom 2 reunion special, the reality star and mom reportedly claims in her court documents against Nathan Griffith that it is Griffith who is abusing substances. And while she didn’t reveal what those alleged substances were, she claimed Griffith was not only abusing substances but also reportedly dealing with an issue which left him unable to care for Kaiser during his designated visitation times with the young child.

In addition, Jenelle Evans’ attorney reportedly continued in the court documents, Griffith “does not have a suitable and healthy home environment to exercise visitation with the minor child,” nor does he regularly exercise the visitation he’s been given.

According to the court documents obtained by Radar Online, Griffith has been served with the papers and is expected to face Jenelle Evans in court during a mediation session on January 4, 2017, two days after the premiere of Teen Mom 2 Season 8.

Earlier this year, ahead of the Teen Mom 2 Season 7 premiere, Jenelle Evans opened up about the ongoing drama between herself and Griffith.

“It’s just a lot of butting heads right now,” Jenelle Evans explained to People Magazine in March of this year. “I think he’s really not putting all personal issues aside – he’s not making it just about Kaiser.”

Jenelle Evans dated Nathan Griffith for a couple of years and during an episode of Teen Mom 2, they were seen getting engaged. Then, shortly after, the couple began to feud often, and by mid-2015, they had called off their relationship and eventually moved on with other people.

While both Evans and Griffith moved on, the reality star claimed Griffith never got over their relationship and immediately had an issue with David Eason when they began dating months later.

“I think he’s really jealous of David,” Jenelle Evans said of Nathan Griffith. “He’s claiming I’m letting Kaiser called David ‘Dada,’ but Kaiser knows David by ‘David’ – I would never do that to Kaiser and I would never do that to Nathan because that’s unfair.”

“Every time we talk, he doesn’t even really ask about Kaiser… He just asks how I’m doing and what I’m up to lately … I don’t think he is sure of his current relationship, or he hasn’t let go [of me] yet.”

Jenelle Evans announced she and David Eason were expecting a child together this past August on Instagram. In a post to fans, Evans revealed they were having a baby girl and said she was due in January.
