Looks Like Christmas is another delightful treat that Hallmark Channel is serving up this weekend. Having unleashed a number of heartwarming new holiday films as Christmas looms ahead, Hallmark doesn’t fail with this latest feature Looks Like Christmas.

Synopsis of the Movie: Looks Like Christmas (aka Christmas Carol) on Hallmark

Carol is a full-time mom and a full-time planner, and she hates wasting time doing things at the last minute. It’s no different for her during the holidays when it’s time to prepare for the annual Christmas Spectacular event at her children’s school.

Every year for the last several years, Carol has put in so much intensive work for the Christmas Spectacular that the other parents have renamed her “Christmas Carol.” And, of course, there is no need for any of them to put in their two cents since this power mom likes everything her way.

But things begin to change when Terry comes into town with his teenage daughter. He may be single, but this dad is very involved in his child’s life and is used to participating in school-related functions and activities.

This year, Terry plans to try his hand at the upcoming Christmas Spectacular at the local school, and he’s ready to shake things up since it seems that the same show is recreated year after year. It won’t be easy, and he already knows that he’ll have to go up against Christmas Carol. Despite the barrier that Carol has built, Terry has some suggestions for this year’s event that he believes will put the “spec” back into spectacular.

Immediately, they bump heads after Terry reveals that he’d like to go for a variety type of show this year, an idea that seems to appeal to the other parents. For Carol, it’s about the classics and the traditions. But Terry believes that new ideas for the show can be combined with some of the same elements for which the Christmas Spectacular is known.

With both Terry and Carol unwilling to back down, they reluctantly work together to hash out the last minute details. Through working together, something marvelous begins to take place — the walls come tumbling down and a romance begins to ignite. Will these two exchange icy kisses or will their burning desires blaze a new trail of love.
