Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2016: When And Where To Watch It Live
Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2016 took place in Paris on Wednesday, November 30. This year, 51 supermodels strutted down the runway in 82 looks, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Stella Maxwell, Lily Aldridge, Hadid sisters — Bella and Gigi — and Kendall Jenner. The entire 45-minute of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be shown on Monday, December 5, at 10 p.m. Eastern time on CBS.

CBS will also stream the event live online for the internet users. In the U.K., 4Music will telecast Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2016 on Monday, December 12 at 8 p.m GMT. And Australian viewers can watch it on Thursday, December 8, at 8:30 p.m. Sydney time on Channel Nine. The taped event will be available on American streaming site Hayu from December 6.
In addition, the footage of the iconic lingerie show will be uploaded on the Victoria’s Secret site after its telecast on CBS. The New York Times (NYT) reported that an estimated 800 million viewers in more than 192 countries are likely to watch Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2016 once it is available for global distribution.
The Wednesday night parade of the winged beauties, donning sexy lingerie ensembles, at Paris’s Grand Palais was one of the best in the 21-year history of Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, according to Forbes.
“For the first time in its 21-year history, the Victoria’s Secret show traveled to the City of Light to film the sexiest night on television, and it was one of their best shows to date.”
The Paris event was divided into six themes: Road Ahead, Mountain Romance, Pink Nation, Secret Angel, Dark Angel and Bright Night Angel. NYT reported that the Mountain Romance section saw British model Lily Donaldson, 29, sashaying down the ramp in sparkling pink lingerie adorned with 2,500 stones.

In the final section of the evening, Jasmine Tookes, 25, waltzed down the runway in $3 million Fantasy Bra. She became the third black supermodel, and the first in nine years, to showcase the Fantasy Bra. She told USA Today that this year’s bejeweled showstopper lingerie created by jeweler Eddie Borgo was beautiful and stunning.
“It is so beautiful. It’s covered in white diamonds and emeralds and it has about 9,000 gemstones. So stunning.”

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2016 also saw spectacular performances by Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and The Weeknd. Bruno Mars sang his new lead single “24K Magic” from his recently released album, 24K Magic. Lady Gaga, who got her own pair of wings as an honorary angel, sang three songs from her latest album, Joanne —“A-Yo,” “John Wayne” and “Million Reasons.” After the show, the songstress personally gave each Angel a rose, Lily Aldridge told Hollywood Life.
“Lady Gaga gave us each a rose after the show, personally, and I thought that was so beautiful and I will love her for life. She is so major and so beautiful, beautiful inside and out.”
Probably the most-anticipated performance of the night was of The Weeknd, who was performing for the second time in a row at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The Canadian singer belted out the title track from his newest album, “Starboy.” It is, however, his reunion with his ex-girlfriend Bella Hadid, who was making her debut as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, on the runway that got the social media buzzing.

Bella and The Weeknd broke up in November after dating for 18 months. And a few weeks later, on Wednesday night in Paris, Bella strutted down the runway in her metallic lingerie set while The Weeknd performed. She later took to her Instagram account to thank him for being an “incredible” performer.

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2016, according to NYT, got a seven-minute standing ovation. The annual extravaganza airs on Monday, December 5 on CBS in the U.S.
