‘Destiny’: Xur’s Exotic Goods For Dec. 2, Deja Vu Week For Warlocks And Hunters
Destiny Warlocks and Hunters should get a strong feeling of Déjà vu from Xûr this week. The vendor has some new Exotic wares to sell for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players for the weekend of Friday, December 2. However, some are repeats from last week.
Xûr can be found next to the Crucible Quartermaster in the Tower this weekend. Simply head straight toward the Vanguard hall after spawning in the tower and look against the wall on the left just before you run into the Quartermaster. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map.
Xûr and his items will only be available in Destiny through Sunday morning. He will be gone as soon as the clock strikes 4 a.m. ET/1 a.m. PT.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
The 4th Horsemen
The 4th Horsemen has an extremely tiny range but makes up for this by being able to blast out four shots extremely quickly. This can take down a PVP opponent immediately, but only if you are close enough to them. It can be more fun to use in PVE activities too as it presents a challenging risk/reward scenario against all but the higher level bosses in Raids and such.
Peregrine Greaves
Peregrine Greaves is only the second pair of Exotic boots for Titans and are very much a Striker sub-class item. The primary perk is “Peregrine Strike,” which gives Shoulder Charge 3x more damage mid-air. These are a very niche pair of boots in terms of utility but can provide for some fun moments in PVE. Shoulder Charge is already a one-shot kill in PVP, so there’s not much-added benefit there.
While the Peregrine Greaves are an extremely niche set of boots, it is hard to argue with the perk rolls this week. The choice between carrying extra Fusion Rifle or Machine Gun ammo doesn’t quite fit the current Crucible meta. The “Arc Double-Down” perk fits perfectly with this Exotic piece, however.
Meanwhile, the 81 Discipline and 72 Strength max stat rolls are very average. Re-roll for better if you pick these up.
Crest of Alpha Lupi
A repeat of last week, Hunters that are team players will want the Crest of Alpha Lupi. The “Keeper of the Pack” perk makes reviving fallen teammates and being revived faster, which is perfect for Trials of Osiris and Elimination. It also causes Supers to generate an extra Orb, which is useful for the Orb-starved Gunslinger and Bladedancer sub-classes.
The Crest of Alpha Lupi piece being sold in Destiny this weekend offers the choice between carrying extra Hand Cannon or Sidearm ammo and reducing Void Burn damage or increased armor when using a Void-based subclass.
The 136 Intellect pure stat roll is actually two points less than the same piece of armor that was on sale last week. If you missed it last week, use Glass Needles only if you want a different ammo or armor class perk.
Voidfang Vestments
The other repeat of the week, Voidfang Vestments is an Exotic Warlock chest piece that comes with a Voidwalker sub-class focused perk. The “Hungering Void” perk will spawn an additional seeker for Axion Bolt grenades and allows your Warlock to respawn with full grenade energy. The chest piece also comes with optional perks for either bonus Pulse Rifle or Fusion Rifle ammo. The final column includes increased Arc Burn Defense or Void Armor.
These Voidfang Vestments join the very average club this week with the 83 Discipline / 79 Strength split stat roll. Skip or re-roll.
