Jennifer Lopez Posted A Photo Of Herself With Black Eye On Instagram

Jennifer Lopez recently posted an Instagram photo of herself in a robe without makeup but it appears that she had a black eye.

Lopez revealed the nasty-looking black eye through the Instagram post but she claims that nobody hit her, as many people thought. The popular musician turned actress revealed that the black eye was the result of a tough day at work. The artist added a caption on the photo, dismissing any worries that she had been hit intentionally by somebody.

“Sometimes work can be rough…Lol,” Jennifer stated in the caption.

The black eye apparently revealed a side of her that not many people know. Apparently, Lopez likes doing her own stunts rather than having a stunt double. The Latina musician is on the leading cast of NBC’s TV show, Shades of Blue. It appears that she was flaunting the black eye as a testament to how much work she has been putting into the show. Lopez portrays the character of a crooked police officer called Harlee Santos who is blackmailed to take down her fellow officers by the FBI.

Jennifer has clearly been putting in a lot of effort into her acting career and she has been receiving a lot of recognition for her good work.

“We want to thank Jennifer, who is the hardest working woman we know, for her incredible efforts as both the star and producer of this show, as well as well as our other amazing producers and cast for all their tireless work in creating one of the most compelling dramas on television today,” stated Jennifer Salke, the Entertainment president at NBC while commending Lopez for her talent in the first season of the show.

Jennifer was quite excited to learn that she would continue with her role after the show was renewed for a second season earlier this year at an EMMY event. Lopez was interviewed by Cameron Mathison of ET regarding Shades of Blue and she pointed out that the show was intense and she had to work really hard. She also stated she had a great time being part of it and was happy that people were really enjoying it.

The 47-year-old superstar is already one of the most accomplished and successful musicians. To add to that, Lopez’s acting career has been on an upward trend and she is determined to keep the trend going. She has also not forgotten about her music career and does a great job juggling it all. Additionally, Lopez is a mother of two and she somehow manages to juggle all that. Lopez made a surprising appearance at this year’s Latin Grammy Awards where she presented her ex-husband Marc Anthony with an award for Person of The Year.

The two then went ahead and performed together on the stage and even kissed, leading to questions as to whether they plan to get back together anytime soon. Marc and Jennifer got divorced in 2012 after being married for seven years. Anthony later pursued a Venezuelan model named Shannon De Lima who he later married in 2014 but they split recently. Of course, the split has led to rumors that Anthony has been trying to get back together with Jennifer though the two celebs have been trying to keep a low profile about their relationship lives.

Lopez has also been the victim of rumors suggesting that she might be dating Calvin Harris after photos of the two posing together hit the media. However, Lopez proved that photos, especially on social media, do not always mean what people want them to mean, such as the idea that someone gave her a black eye in her latest Instagram post.
