Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis Announce The Birth Of Child No. 2

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis welcomed their second child into the family on November 30, multiple media outlets have reported.

E! News confirmed Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis brought a son into the world through one of the couple’s representatives. Neither Ashton nor Mila have released the name of their newborn son, however. The infant boy will join big sister Wyatt Isabelle, who turned 2 years old earlier this year, to double the family size for Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.

Ashton Kutcher accidentally revealed the sex of their unborn baby in October during an interview on The Today Show. In discussing how the couple’s daughter was coping with the coming addition to the family, Ashton Kutcher hilariously let the cat out of the bag on their child’s sex.

“She points to Mila and she’s like, ‘baby brother’ when she points to the belly and then she points to dad and she goes, ‘Beer!’ So I think she gets there’s something in the belly but I don’t quite think that she knows that it’s not going to be a plastic doll yet.”

Although Asthon Kutcher and Mila Kunis already have one child, the couple devoted time to prepare for a second addition to the family, a separate E! News report suggested. In addition to being more confident and less obsessive this time around, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are also preparing for less down time with a toddler and infant child running around the house, an unnamed source suggested to E! News.

“[Kunis] is feeling good, although taking care of a toddler while pregnant is different for her than the first time around, where she could rest a lot more. Ashton dotes on her though. He always carries Wyatt and doesn’t want Mila doing any lifting at all. He has always been very hands-on, but he has really been taking over lately and trying to give Mila a break.”

The other steps both Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis took to prepare for their newborn son was to learn how to divide their time between work and home life. Mila Kunis, the 33-year-old actress who filmed Bad Moms between giving birth to her first- and second-born children, expressed the need to pick the perfect project before committing to the rigorous 15- to 17-hour days that filming can require.

Settling on a name was perhaps one of the hardest things for Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. Vanity Fair reported that Ashton Kutcher, a native Iowan, wanted to name the child Hawkeye to pay homage to the University of Iowa’s mascot and (as he jokingly admitted to Conan O’Brien on his talk show recently) Alan Alda’s former character on M.A.S.H. While Mila Kunis shot that name down, the couple did finally come to an agreement on their son’s name, Ashton Kutcher said.

“We have a name dialed in that we’ve had for a while, but the problem is, if you get the name too soon, suddenly there’s like slight trepidation about the name…Now we’re like, ‘Maybe we don’t love the name,’ even though we both love the name! So, I think we have a name.”

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, who became engaged in February 2014, welcomed their first child into the world later that year in October. The former co-stars of That ’70s Show married the following year in July in a small, private ceremony in front of friends and family members just outside of Los Angeles.
