Inside ‘RHOA’ Star Kenya Moore’s Nasty Split: What The Police Report Reveals About BF Matt Jordan

Kenya Moore’s nasty split with Matt Jordan is one secret she doesn’t want to go public. Unfortunately for Moore, details about the breakup are beginning to surface, and it sounds like things were a lot messier than originally thought.

Wetpaint reports that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star had an epic fight with Jordan at her Moore Manor that officially ended their romance. Police were even called to the scene of the dispute, which went down on May 31, 2016.

Police reports show that Moore was the one who called the authorities, and her home was littered with clothing upon their arrival.

“I arrived and found a suitcase in the driveway that was thrown down from the top with clothes everywhere,” the report stated. “I met Kenya Moore who had called 911 about a dispute with her former boyfriend.”

Despite the mess, Moore claims that Jordan never laid hands on her. They had a verbal argument during a trip to Mexico that carried over once they returned home to Atlanta. She called the police because she feared the fight might “escalate.”

“Kenya stated she had just gotten back home when Matthew showed up and started a verbal argument… Matt left her after she called 911, but threw her bag down the steep driveway from his vehicle,” the report concluded.

The couple officially split following the fight. They promised to remain civil towards each other, although Jordan later criticized Moore for spreading lies on the reality show.

Despite their disagreements, People is reporting that Moore recently gave Jordan another chance. On a new episode of RHOA, Moore opened up about the breakup and admitted that she missed Jordan being around.

“It’s just weird,” she explained to Cynthia Bailey. “When I first bought this house, I didn’t have him in my life. I bought it because I just wanted it to be part of my future… And then months later, here he comes. He helped me repair, build, fix, love this house. And he loved it just as much. I eventually saw us being here together. This really could have been for us.”

Jordan has been trying hard to make things right with Kenya Moore. Not only has he been sending her flowers, but he decided to appear at a housewarming party and make amends in person.

“I did bad — I was wrong. I was really wrong,” he said to Moore. “Nothing you should ever do should warrant what I said or the way I behaved. When someone’s yelling, you don’t know. And even raising your voice can almost make you lose your queen.”

For Moore, all she could think about was how he lost control in Mexico. While Jordan was ready to make things right, Moore was hesitant to bring him back into her life.

“When I feel like somebody has a loss of control and I don’t know what they’re capable of, I feel scared,” Moore countered. “You were my protector. So for me to be afraid of you in that moment, I was just like, ‘I don’t know what to do right now.'”

In the end, Moore explained how Jordan needed to build up some trust before they could move forward. According to Bravo TV, the two decided that their relationship was worth rebuilding and Moore agreed to give him a second chance.

“I just feel like in the past, I’ve made mistakes because I don’t forgive people. I move on, I’m the runner,” she explained. “But with him, I think that he’s shown me more patience in my life and maybe how to do things a different way.”
