Kandi Burruss Baby Daddy: Does ‘RHOA’ Star Think He Is Lying About Wanting Relationship?

Kandi Burruss wasn’t planning on the fact that she would have to deal with her baby daddy on this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. While she was looking at products with her husband that she could launch using their son Ace, her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend walked into her office and she was immediately convinced that the Real Housewives of Atlanta producers had set up the whole thing. Kandi learned that Riley’s father, Block, really wanted to make an effort when it came to his daughter. While Burruss was open to him trying, she wasn’t happy with his effort. For some reason, he was convinced that Kandi needed to force her daughter to see him.

According to a new Bravo report, Kandi Burruss is now revealing that she got very heated when Block called her during Sunday’s episode of the show and asked Burruss to see his daughter. Kandi pointed out that he could contact Riley himself and make an effort to fix their relationship, but it sounded like he wanted Kandi to get involved and essentially force her daughter to hang out with him.

“He’s arrogant. If he truly wanted a relationship with Riley, then he needs to make her feel like he really wants to be there. Even if he calls her 100 times and she doesn’t call him back, he needs to keep trying. Years of neglect take more than a couple of phone calls to get over. I try my hardest not to argue and curse him out, because I never want him to be able to use me as an excuse later to tell Riley he wasn’t there because I did something to stop their relationship. So I hate when I lose my cool with him, even though he makes it hard not to,” Kandi Burruss explained in an interview with Bravo about the breakdown in her car in front of her mother.

It sounds like Burruss doesn’t care what he says about her as a mother because she knows that she has been taking care of their daughter for 14 years. As she explained on the show, Block would have to work out his own issues with his daughter if he wanted a relationship with her. It wouldn’t be enough to send his girlfriend to Kandi Burruss’ office and beg for a chance. That doesn’t show his intentions with his daughter. But that wasn’t the only thing that Burruss got frustrated about on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. During a verbal argument between the ladies, Kandi’s mother was brought into the situation.

“Well, there have definitely been a lot of situations that I’ve let slide because I didn’t want to deal with the drama. My mom doesn’t like to let anything slide, so it bothers her when I do that. Especially when it comes to money,” Burruss revealed about her co-star’s comment about how guys tend to take advantage of her because she’s sweet and nice, sharing that there may have been some truth to that in the past.

“I was hearing the Charlie Brown noise: ‘Whomp, whomp, whomp, whomp…’ Until Kenya mentioned my mom’s name,” Kandi Burruss explained about her reaction when Kenya Moore compared Sheree Whitfield’s haircut to Mama Joyce’s hair as a way of throwing shade, adding, “I immediately got pissed! Why did she have to go putting my mom in their argument? I felt it was unnecessary.”

What do you think of Kandi Burruss’ comments about her daughter’s relationship with her father? Do you think Block has made an effort to get on Riley’s good side since filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta?
