‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Star Kenya Moore, Boyfriend Matt Ready To Tie The Knot? ‘RHOA’ Star Worries About 15-Year Age Difference

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore and her boyfriend, Matt Jordan, went on an eight-hour road trip to go to his family reunion in Cincinnati. Given that they encountered a few bumps in their relationship, it did not come as a surprise that the RHOA star was not at all thrilled with the long drive.

“Matt wants to drive because he feels as though it’s a bonding experience for us,” Kenya said.

The entire time, Kenya did nothing but complain to Matt about how she hated going on road trips. So when she finally got to meet his parents, Mattie and Harold, and his sister Hallison, she went on another rant about how long it took for them to get to Cincinnati.

“We kept talking about what Kenya doesn’t like but what does Matt dislike?” Hallison countered.

Mattie and Harold then asked Kenya what her intentions were for Matt, to which the Real Housewives of Atlanta star said that she just wanted to be the “best friend she could possibly be” and “help Matt be the best person he could possibly be.” Hallison was clearly unimpressed with Kenya’s answers, saying she was just going in circles.

Kenya also admitted that they had some problems in the past that stemmed from Matt’s immaturity.

“That’s the age difference,” Hallison pointed out.

Even if Matt’s parents don’t seem concerned with the 15-year age difference between him and Kenya, Hallison admitted that it bothered her a bit. Kenya, however, tried to assure Matt’s sister that she’s in it for the long haul.

“At my age, I wouldn’t be sitting here with him unless I feel like we have a future together,” Kenya said.

On her Bravo blog, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star held that she was surprised with the reaction she got from Matt’s sister, Hallison. Kenya Moore, however, understood that she was just looking out for his younger brother. The RHOA star also anticipated that his family may not be as supportive of their relationship because of the big age difference between them, but he was happy to know that they have accepted her into their family. Kenya added that Mattie treated her like she was one of her own.

Seeing how close Matt is with his family made Kenya realize what she has been missing. She even hinted about possibly getting married to him someday.

“Matt has been very open with me about wanting marriage. Seeing his family and experiencing the love they have for each other made me want to be a part of it.”

When Kenya Moore co-hosted The Real in October, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared, via Reality Tea, that she’s been going out with Matt Jordan for a year and a half. Just like any other relationships, Kenya said that they have their ups and downs. Much of the fights she admitted were caused by their big age difference.

“Sometimes you know, we lock horns. I feel like I am trying to be patient and I don’t want to emasculate him. It’s just like, you know, this constant power struggle. I think a lot it is because he’s younger. Yes, and maybe sometimes we just don’t speak the same language. You know?”

In spite of their differences, Kenya revealed that she’s happy to be with Matt. She appreciated how sweet, kind, and generous he is.

“He’s so generous. Not with necessarily money, but he is. But his time, his emotions. Like he’s very giving.” She says she really likes him,” she shared.
