Angelina Jolie has allegedly wasted away to a "scary 76 pounds." As her messy divorce from Brad Pitt continues, the 41-year-old is reportedly struggling with eating issues and has allegedly put her health at risk.
"[Angelina Jolie]'s not coping at all," a source told Radar Online on November 29. "Her arms have become so bone-thin, they look like toothpicks! Her weight is plummeting."
According to New York-based internist Dr. Stuart Fischer, who has not treated Angelina Jolie, the mother of six has allegedly "gone past the point of safety" and now that her estranged husband has been cleared of child abuse charges, her situation has reportedly become dire.
As Radar Online explained to readers, the Los Angeles County's Department of Children and Family Services Department dismissed their child abuse case against Pitt on November 9, which gave the 52-year-old actor a huge advantage in their custody battle.
In September, when Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt, she reportedly requested sole custody of their six children, including Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and Vivienne and Knox, 8, and offered her soon-to-be ex-husband, Pitt, limited visitation. Now, however, after the child abuse case has been closed, Pitt could be headed for joint custody, which is allegedly favored by California law.
In addition to Angelina Jolie's alleged health struggles, Pitt has reportedly lost about 20 pounds since their divorce drama began. Still, Angelina Jolie has reportedly lost even more weight and continues to struggle to maintain her composure.
"[Angelina Jolie]'s tearing her hair out over this latest development," said the source, who insisted the actress was barely eating. "The fear is that she'll end up in the hospital on a feeding tube!"
"[Angelina Jolie] was furious when she was informed that authorities determined that Brad did not commit child abuse during an altercation with their son Maddox on a private jet. I think she expected them to throw the book at him!" the source continued.
The outlet went on to reveal that during a recent outing with her kids, Angelina Jolie reportedly appeared "weak and almost ready to keel over."
"If [Angelina Jolie] keeps losing weight, she's going to go into heart failure," Dr. Gabe Mirkin, who has not treated the actress, claimed.
Angelina Jolie has been accused of wasting away before. In fact, she's been facing allegations of being too thin since shortly after her relationship with Brad Pitt began 12 years ago, and just last week, Jolie was accused of reportedly smoking herself to death.
"[Angelina Jolie] doesn't eat, she chain-smokes," a source told Radar Online. "She easily goes through two packs a day... Going up against Brad has been the hardest thing Angie's ever faced. She's stressed out, and in a constant state of anxiety."
"The cigarettes kill her appetite, but she's already skin and bones. The last thing [Angelina Jolie] should be doing is skipping meals!" the source added.
However, in response to the report, Gossip Cop shot down the idea that Angelina Jolie was allegedly chain smoking and spoke to a source who said there was no truth to Radar Online's report.
"All of the times I've spent with [Angelina Jolie] at her home, I've never smelled or seen cigarettes!" a source told the outlet on November 25.
Angelina Jolie has been staying out of the spotlight since filing for divorce from Brad Pitt, aside from one public appearance, and seems to be focused on her kids as she and Pitt continue to hash out their upcoming custody agreement for their six children.
When Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on September 19, her entertainment attorney told TMZ she did so for "the health of the family."
