When Does ‘The Bachelor’ Start And Does Nick Viall End Up Getting Engaged?

When does The Bachelor start? That’s been a question on many minds since the decision to let Nick Viall hand out roses was made. Unfortunately, The Bachelor does not start tonight even though the Dancing With The Stars finale aired last week. ABC won’t be airing The Bachelor until Monday, January 2.

Earlier this month, ABC released the first teaser trailer for Season 21 of The Bachelor. In it, Nick Viall — set to be the “worse Bachelor in the show’s history, taking the title away from Juan Pablo Galavis — is the center of attention and the women chosen to date him seem to be infatuated with him. Of course, that’s the point of The Bachelor, at least at the beginning. Take a look at the teaser trailer below.

Before The Bachelor start date approaches, spoilers leak on the internet and thousands if not millions of fans like to read about what’s going to happen. Since Nick Viall is so controversial (people either love him or hate him), this season hasn’t been any different. Reality Steve has already pumped out enough information and most fans already know what’s going to happen.

Bachelor spoilers will not be posted in this article, but if you don’t want to know whether or not Nick Viall finds love on the show, you should stop reading now.

Nick Viall started filming The Bachelor back in September. He has already gone on his one-on-one dates, he has gone on the infamous two-on-one date, he has gone on four hometown dates, and he has chosen one woman to spend his life with.

According to Reality Steve, Nick Viall was in Finland on Friday, November 18th, and he got down on one knee. And she said yes! Yes, folks, that means that Nick Viall is engaged. Finally. Despite many people believing the stories about Nick Viall not finding love — again — this isn’t the case at all, according to Reality Steve.

“From this point forward, you will see promos, teasers, hear rumors, yada yada yada making you think all sorts of different things that aren’t the ending of Nick is engaged to [winner]. It’s all just background noise. Pay no attention to it. The show and tabloids will do whatever they can in the next few months to make you think it’s an ending that’s different from what I reported.”

And as for this season of The Bachelor being the worst ever? Reality Steve says it makes no difference — ratings are still expected to be high.

“People are still going to watch, just like they would’ve if Luke was cast. Or Chase. Or whoever. That doesn’t change. But Nick definitely gives them some talking points heading into this season just based on his past with the show, being the bridesmaid twice, etc. Nick was chosen because he had a better backstory to sell, not because he was any more deserving than anyone else. That’s laughable.”

The Bachelor spoilers can’t predict the future (past the show) with absolute certainty, but Reality Steve did ask himself if he thought Nick’s new relationship would last. His response? “Probably not.” Steve points out that Nick Viall wants to be in the spotlight (shocker) and that the guy would love to be on Dancing With The Stars. He just wants his time in the spotlight to keep going, and that’s what he’s planning to do.

Was being on The Bachelor just another stop on Nick Viall’s road to success? That sounds beyond likely.
