Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Reportedly Celebrate Thanksgiving Separately As Kate Hudson Dating Rumors Swirl

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly celebrated Thanksgiving separately last week.

As the couple’s messy divorce and custody battle continues to play out in the press, a report claims the celebrity pair spent the holiday apart. Although rumors swirled prior to the holiday that suggested Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie could unite for the sake of their kids, a new report stated that the rumored reunion never happened.

“There were rumors that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt would spend Thanksgiving together with their kids in a sort of informal truce, but the estranged power couple spent the holiday apart,” New York Magazine revealed to readers on November 26.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie parted ways in September, and on September 19, Jolie filed documents to end their marriage and requested full custody of their six children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.

On November 25, Page Six stated that despite reports claiming Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were putting their differences aside for the Thanksgiving holiday, they never saw one another last Thursday, nor did Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, the couple’s oldest biological child, request that they celebrate together.

“She never asked him and they are not together,” an insider explained to the outlet.

Gossip Cop also revealed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie weren’t planning on a joint celebration and was first to do so.

Prior to the report, rumors claimed Jolie had made a “temporary truce” with Brad Pitt after Shiloh allegedly sent them both an email about the possibility of spending the holidays together. Although sources told the outlet that both Brad Pitt and his estranged wife were allegedly in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving Day, they were not together.

As the outlet explained, Brad Pitt was recently cleared of child abuse charges following a weeks-long investigation by the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services. As fans may recall, Brad Pitt was targeted with allegations of child abuse after he was reportedly involved in a dispute with his 15-year-old son, Maddox, on their private plane.

At the time of Angelina Jolie’s divorce filing, TMZ claimed the 41-year-old actress reportedly filed due to conflict over her kids with Brad Pitt, as well as his alleged substance abuse and anger.

“Angelina’s decision to file has to do with the way [Brad Pitt] was parenting the children… she was extremely upset with his methods,” the outlet revealed to readers. “Angelina became ‘fed up’ with Brad’s consumption of weed and possibly alcohol, and mixed with what she believes is ‘an anger problem’… felt it became dangerous for the children.”

At the time of the report, Angelina Jolie’s entertainment attorney, Robert Offer, told TMZ that she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt “for the health of the family.”

In other Brad Pitt news, the 52-year-old actor was recently linked to actress Kate Hudson.

“Kate is Brad’s mystery woman. They’ve become extremely close over the past few weeks, following several secret meet-ups,” a source, who’s allegedly been friends with Brad Pitt for years, revealed to Women’s Day magazine on November 28.

In an interview with Woman’s Day, security guard Kris Herzog, who worked with Brad Pitt and his estranged wife in the past, spoke of the possibility of a Pitt and Hudson romance.

“I know both Kate and [Brad Pitt], and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if they were dating!” he said.

While Brad Pitt and Kate Hudson may look good together, a source close to Pitt has confirmed to Gossip Cop that they are not dating.

In recent months, Brad Pitt has been linked to a number of actresses in Hollywood, including Allied co-star Marion Cotillard. For months leading up to his wife’s divorce filing, Brad Pitt was linked to Cotillard, who is currently expecting her second child with partner Guillaume Canet. However, according to Cotillard, nothing inappropriate ever happened between them on the set or otherwise.
