The Seattle Seahawks and Carolina Panthers are set to face off in an NFC showdown in NFL Week 13 action. It is a game that football fans won’t want to miss. Carolina is clinging onto the last glimpse of the playoffs that they have, while the Seahawks are looking to bounce back from a tough loss to Tampa Bay.

Both teams are going to have a little extra this week to leave on-the-field. This game could end up having playoff implications for both teams when everything is said and done this season.

Cam Newton and the Panthers have been an incredible disappointment this season. After losing in the Super Bowl last season to Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, they were expected to bounce back with a strong 2016 season. Obviously, that hasn’t happened, as the Panthers hold a 4-7 record heading into Week 13.

Seattle, on the other hand, is 7-3-1 on the season and are looking like serious contenders. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks’ offense has been putting up solid numbers, although there have been consistency issues. Defensively, the Seahawks are once again one of the best in the NFL.

Needless to say, this game is going to be entertaining for any fan of football.

After last week’s embarrassing offensive performance, the Seahawks could use a big game from running back Thomas Rawls. Rawls will answer the call with 110 yards and two touchdowns. Seattle cannot rely on big games every week from Wilson, which is why the running game has to step up.

Cam Newton Totals 300 Yards, Four Touchdowns, No Interceptions

Carolina hasn’t seen Cam Newton play at the MVP level that he did last season. They need their franchise player to step up in a big way this week. Newton will rise to the challenge with 300 total yards, four touchdowns, and will not throw an interception against a tough Seattle defense.

Russell Wilson Totals 200 Yards, Two Touchdowns, Two Interceptions

If you’re hoping to see Russell Wilson bounce back with a huge game this week, we aren’t projecting that to happen. Wilson will total just 200 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in the game. Carolina’s defense stepped up in a big way last week in the second half and will put a lot of pressure on Wilson and will force him to make mistakes this week.

Carolina Sacks Russell Wilson Four Times or More

Why do we think that Russell Wilson will have such a rough game? Carolina’s defense is going to be coming after him all game long. They are not going to allow Wilson to have much time and that will result in four sacks throughout the course of the game.

The Carolina Panthers Pull Out a Huge Victory

Even though this game should come down to the final few possessions, the Carolina Panthers will get the win. Seattle is going to put up a hard fight, but the Panthers are going to stay alive in the playoff race with the win. Carolina will improve to 5-7 on the season, while Seattle will drop to 7-4-1.

Expect to see this game be one of the most entertaining on the Week 13 schedule. Both teams came into the season as favorites in the NFC, but only the Seahawks have played like a true contender.
