Minnesota Vikings Vs. Dallas Cowboys: Bold Predictions For NFL Week 13

The Minnesota Vikings are set to host the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football in NFL Week 13 action. It is a game that could help shape the NFC playoff picture. Both teams are viewed as serious contenders in the conference, with the Cowboys being the best team in the league at this point in the year.

Sam Bradford and the Vikings are coming into this week’s game against the Cowboys with a 6-5 record. They have one of the league’s best defenses and their offense is capable of putting up big numbers as well. Mike Zimmer has to be very happy with the team he has and there is a good chance that the Vikings will be a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.

Dallas is led by rookie tandem Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. Prescott has taken over the starting quarterback job convincingly from Tony Romo, while Elliott is off to one of the best starts of any NFL rookie running back. The Dallas defense has improved a lot this season as well, which sets the stage for an intriguing defensive matchup this week.

Needless to say, this could be the best Thursday game of the entire season. Either one of these teams could end up being the team that wins the Super Bowl.

All of that being said, what bold predictions can be made for the Vikings vs. Cowboys game in NFL Week 13?

Sam Bradford Throws at Least Three Interceptions

Dallas has shown that their secondary is more than capable of making big plays. That will be the case once again this week, as they will force Sam Bradford to throw three interceptions. Bradford’s turnovers will make it tough to win the game, but this point won’t count the Vikings completely out.

Ezekiel Elliott Rushes for 120 Yards, Two Touchdowns

Minnesota has a solid run defense, but Ezekiel Elliott will rush for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Elliott has helped lead the Cowboys to a 10-1 record and will continue his impressive play this week. It won’t be easy running, but Elliott will find ways to pick up solid yardage and break off a big run or two.

Minnesota Sacks Dak Prescott Four Times

Even though Prescott is more than capable of escaping pressure, the Vikings will find a way to sack him four times. Minnesota will be sending pressure at Prescott all game long. They are going to get burnt at times because of their blitzes, but they have to try and get Prescott off his game.

Dak Prescott Totals 300 Yards, Four Touchdowns

There have been very few quarterbacks that have played as well as Dak Prescott has this season. He will continue his impressive play this week with 300 yards and four touchdowns. Prescott has earned the job in Dallas and will likely be the Cowboys’ starter for many years to come.

The Dallas Cowboys Improve to 11-1 with a Tough Road Win

While the Vikings are going to put up a fight, the Cowboys are just too good. Prescott and Elliott will lead the way once again this week and the Cowboys will get the win to improve to 11-1 on the season. Minnesota will drop to 6-6 on the season and will see their playoff hopes diminish a bit.

Expect to see these teams battle down to the wire. Neither team is going to blow the other out, but the Cowboys will get the job done when everything is said and done.
