Ubisoft Ends 30th Anniversary Celebration With 30 Days Of Free Stuff For Fans

Ubisoft is concluding their 30th anniversary celebration with a “30 Days of Giveaways” promotion. To get in on the free goodies gamers simply need to visit Ubisoft’s advent calendar-esque website, log in with their UPlay account, and click on the numbered gift boxes. One gift box unlocks each day, and the program runs from November 24 at 8 a.m. GMT (3 a.m. ET) through December 23 at 11:59 p.m. GMT (6:59 p.m. ET).

Ubisoft is giving away free games as part of the promotion, along with other freebies fans may find interesting like recipes and do-it-yourself projects. The official Ubisoft blog is known for their helpful DIY articles, including recent cosplay guides for characters from Watch Dogs 2 and For Honor, and these gifts may be of a similar nature. UbiBlog shares some insight on what Ubisoft has planned for fans during the 30-day giveaway period.

“We wanted to try and find a little something for everyone, young and young at heart alike. Planned giveaways will include Rayman Classic for mobile, special holiday decorations and a special 300-Game Giveaway! That’s right, 300 copies of three of our latest titles (one game per person, first-come first-served) will be up for grabs as part of the festivities! We’ll also be giving away unique goodies, ranging from cocktail recipes to DIY projects for the whole family.”

“Check back every day for something new – you never know what you might find! All you have to do is log in with your Ubisoft account here (if you don’t have one yet, it’s free, easy and painless) and click on the latest offer. But be warned! Although most giveaways are unlimited, some will only be available for the first players to log in and click on the offer – such as the 300 Game Giveaway.”

Logging in daily is recommended, as is checking the official Ubisoft social media channels, to get the jump on the limited giveaways. Although some giveaways are limited to a specific number of people, be forewarned that some of the free games and goodies are also being limited by country or region as well. Games that have mature ratings and are recommended for players 17 and older (or 18 and older, depending on the region) are only available to people who meet the age requirements; otherwise, everyone of every age is able to get the free stuff added to their UPlay account.

If you miss a day or two, or even if you don’t sign up until the last day of the promotion, you can still grab all the freebies that weren’t limited on a first come, first served basis. And, like most free stuff, many of the items are limited to one per account.

Ubisoft’s holiday line-up includes the recently released Watch Dogs 2 and the upcoming Steep. Although a new Assassin’s Creed game is not slated for 2016, players can relive the adventures of Ezio Auditore da Firenze on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the newly released Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection. The compilation comes with Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations. Micheal Fassbender is also headlining a film version of Assassin’s Creed that takes the franchise from the small screen to the silver screen. The movie is set to hit U.S. theaters on December 21 and is the first of several Ubisoft film projects.

Update: Gamers on Reddit have unearthed the complete list of freebies for the 30-day celebration. According to the leak, 300 copies of Ubisoft’s latest titles are going to be up for grabs on December 9. The PC games being given out for free to everyone throughout the campaign are Assassin’s Creed III, The Crew, Prince of Persia, Rayman Legends, and Splinter Cell.
