As Mariah Carey (and any other celebrity) well knows, if you share a photoshopped photo on social media – it will not take long for someone to notice. While Mariah Carey is the latest celebrity to be in the spotlight for posting a Photoshop fail on social media, she certainly isn’t the only celebrity to do so.

Two days ago, Mariah Carey posted a photo of herself on Instagram celebrating Thanksgiving. It didn’t take long for commenters to point out the fact that the photo Carey had shared on social media was photoshopped. Not only was it photoshopped – it was photoshopped poorly. Can you spot the Photoshop fail in the picture above? At first, nothing appears to be wrong with the photo Mariah Carey shared on social media. Per Refinery29, it didn’t take long for social media users to point out the fact that Mariah Carey had shared a photoshopped Thanksgiving photo. Perhaps the most devastating part of this Photoshop fail is the fact that many of Mariah Carey’s followers do not understand why she photoshopped the photo in the first place because her body “looked perfect” just the way it was.

One social media user commented on the fact that Mariah Carey had such a “perfect body” that the cabinets around her were bending and buckling. If you take another close look at the photo Mariah shared on social media, you can see the area around her body is distorted in several different places.

Mariah Carey Certainly Isn’t The First Celeb To Photoshop A Picture

The unfortunate truth is celebrities such as Mariah Carey are held to a very high standard and are constantly in the spotlight. While most celebrities do have fans who believe they look perfect just the way they are, there is this need to always look perfect while in the spotlight. With so much focus on appearance, it should come as no surprise that Mariah Carey isn’t the first celebrity to post a photoshopped image on social media.

The only problem with celebrities sharing photoshopped images on social media is people watch them like a hawk. If there is a Photoshop fail anywhere in the picture a celebrity has shared on social media – someone is going to find it. It is only a matter of time.

Now, let’s take Mariah Carey off blast for a moment and look at some other celebrities who have attempted to get away with sharing photoshopped photos on social media.

Beyonce

If you take a close look at the photo above, you will spot the Photoshop fail via the iPhone sitting on the table. The curved and warped iPhone suggests Beyonce likely touched up her thighs before sharing this photo on social media.

Kim Kardashian

If you take a closer look at the background in the picture above, you will noticed the door is curved and warped. Chances are pretty good this is because a little Photoshop magic was added to her waist before this picture was shared on social media.

In the picture below, you may notice the warped door reappeared.

It appears as if Kim Kardashian took a stab at photoshopping her stomach before sharing the picture above on social media.

Miranda Kerr

At first glance, you may not notice anything amiss with the picture of Miranda above. If you take a closer look at the floor around her dress, you will notice the pattern on the rug curves towards her body. Almost as if she tried to give herself a bit of a Photoshop tuck before sharing the picture on social media.
