'Once Upon A Time' Season 6 Winter Finale Spoilers: Evil Queen Wishes To Sideline The Savior In Episode 10

Once Upon a Time Season 6 will soon be taking a winter break, but not before introducing more dark twists to the storyline. The midseason finale of Once Upon a Time Season 6, titled "Wish You Were Here," will see the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) stealing Alladin's (Deniz Akdeniz) magic lamp from Princess Jasmine (Karen David). And this thievery, as expected, will stir up new trouble.

In Episode 10, the Evil Queen will find out that the opposite camp possesses a special weapon that can put an end to her devilry, according to the official synopsis of "Wish You Were Here." To stop the heroes from using this weapon against her, she will steal Alladin's magic lamp from Princess Jasmine and make a wish. The synopsis hints that this wish has the power to "sideline the Savior (Jeniffer Morrison)," and that too, permanently.

Also, the Once Upon a Time Season 6 midseason finale will also see David (Josh Dallas) working with Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and Henry (Jared Gilmore) to stop the Evil Queen. Regina (Lana Parilla), meanwhile, will be on a rogue mission, while Emma will be on the missing person list. The winter finale will also put Gold (Robert Carlyle) and Belle's (Emilie de Ravin) newborn in a new danger. The synopsis describes this danger as surprising.

It seems the midseason finale is like winter -- bleak. But, according to executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, hope is returning to Storybrooke. They told Entertainment Weekly (EW) that in the upcoming episode of Once Upon a Time Season 6, a magical wish will bring back hope, but they also added that there is a catch attached to this hope.

"In a season that's seen a returning Evil Queen, a Savior in crisis, and a renegade genie all facing a dire prophecy, hope returns to Storybrooke in the form of a magical wish. But of course, like all magic, it comes with a price — and this price upends the world of all of our fairy tale heroes and villains as they are thrown into an adventure involving new worlds, old loves, and an impending destiny that can no longer be ignored."
It is also possible that "hope" might return in the form of Robin Hood (Sean Maguire). The penultimate episode of Season 5 saw Robin Hood meeting his demise while protecting Regina from Hades' (Greg Germann) Olympian Crystal. Soon after Once Upon a Time Season 6 premiere, the executive producers confirmed to EW that Maguire would be returning to feature in multiple episodes this season. They also hoped that the fans would find Robin Hood's return to the series surprising.
We're thrilled to have Sean back for this story arc and are excited for the audience to see what we have planned, which in the wake of his character's heartbreaking demise, is something we hope is unexpected and surprising,"
And, because of the midseason finale title, "Wish You Were Here," fans are also speculating about Robin Hood's return.Meanwhile, on Sunday night, November 27, Once Upon a Time Season 6 Episode 9, titled "Changelings," will see Gold ordering the Evil Queen to take care of the problem called Zelena (Rebecca Mader) -- instructing her to kill her sister, according to the episode synopsis. The preview suggests that Rumple, who is known to inflict pain and revenge, has gone "too far" in the new episode.Belle will be one who might stop him from causing complete mayhem. When she learns about his plans for their son, she will seek Hook and Emma's help to steal squid ink so that they can immobilize him, the synopsis reveals. Jasmine, on the other hand, will try to save Agrabah using an empty lamp -- it does not have a genie in it.

Also, according to a sneak peek and the synopsis of Episode 9, Rumple, in the past, will take Jack and Jill's son as hostage, to acquire more power, and will ask Belle to take care of him. In the present, he will be seen telling the Evil Queen that he has finally gotten over Belle because he has come to his senses.

Once Upon a Time Season 6 Episode 10, the mid-season finale, airs on December 4 on ABC.
