Kris Jenner Not Planning Double ‘KUWTK’ Wedding Special: Kourtney, Khloe Kardashian Are Not Getting Married [Debunked]

Kris Jenner is not planning two weddings that will be featured in on Keeping Up With the Kardashians next year, as has been alleged.

A recent In Touch article reported the momager has noticed how ratings have been slipping from week to week in recent years, and in order to bring enough interest for viewers to tune in again, Kris Jenner thinks that televising two weddings will do the trick, a source reveals.

In Touch magazine claims that Kris supposedly knows that Khloe wants to get married in the near future, having already been told that wedding plans for the socialite and her boyfriend of three months, Tristan Thompson, are definitely in the works.

As for the second wedding that Kris is planning to organize for the KUWTK special, Jenner is said to be convinced that Kourtney Kardashian will finally tie the knot with Scott Disick, who she is alleged to have reconciled with following their one-year break.

“Kris has been racking her brain for weeks about how to make the show more appealing,” a source tells the outlet. “Kris knows Khloe and Kourtney will go for it when she shows them how much money they can make and how it would keep the family empire alive.”

In order to keep the show interesting and afloat, Kris Jenner knows that she needs a particular storyline to drive back the 3 million viewers KUWTK was known to receive every single week

The show’s last series reportedly averaged at 1.4 million viewers, with slightly higher numbers when the relationship drama with Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian was played out. Viewing numbers raised to 1.9 million and reached its peak at 2.2 million when Rob confessed to his siblings that he was expecting a child with the woman his sisters couldn’t stand.

But that storyline has now come to an end and Kris Jenner knows that if she doesn’t come up with a plan fast, the show could potentially be in danger of facing the chop.

“[Jenner] knows Khloe is desperate to marry again, so she’s pushing her to wed Tristan [Thompson],” an insider continued, adding that Scott’s “cheating and partying days are behind him.” Kris Jenner is “seeing dollars signs again. She’s desperate to keep the family empire alive.”

But according to Gossip Cop, that’s all hogwash. One of Jenner’s reps assured the rumor-busting outlet that the claims are false and Jenner is not seeking to plan a double wedding for a ratings bump. Nor is she urging her daughters to wed. Gossip Cop claims “the repeatedly discredited outlet has published yet another fabricated story about the family.”

With Kim Kardashian taking a hiatus from social media, Kris is said to have reached panic mode since the 36-year-old is known to make the most money in the family. With Kim staying away from social media and rarely showing her face in public, along with the fact that numbers for KUWTK are down, Kris is certainly thinking ahead with how she expects the Kardashian empire to stand strong for many more years to come.

News of Kris Jenner desperately trying to prevent the chances of the family’s reality show being canceled comes just two weeks after the momager helped her son’s fiancée, Blac Chyna, deliver their baby girl, Dream, into the world, Mirror reports.

Jenner is currently supporting Kim, who didn’t learn about Kanye West’s hospitalization until she landed in New York City for an event to honor her late father, Robert Kardashian. The socialite flew right back to Los Angeles to be with her husband, who has been seeking treatment for his bizarre mood swings earlier this week.
