Blake Lively Not Cheating On Ryan Reynolds With Leonardo DiCaprio [Debunked]
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ marriage is not in trouble despite the infidelity allegations thrown at them. Speculations have risen that Blake might be rekindling the flame with former boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio, but Gossip Cop shunned the rumors.
Just last month, a report from OK! via The Hollywood Gossip claimed that Ryan is so annoyed at Blake’s younger friends, particularly Taylor Swift’s squad. “When Blake has her girls over, Ryan usually doesn’t stick around. He’s even commented that they sound like a pack of chirping birds,” claimed the so-called source.
It appears that there’s no trouble between the Green Lantern actor and the “Out of the Woods” songstress for she even visited them last month when Blake gave birth to their second child. Taylor again paid the couple a visit in Pound Ridge where she reportedly spent three to four days.
When the Gossip Girl actress shared an Instagram tribute for Ryan who was then celebrating his 40th birthday, Taylor even commented, “Thanks guys. Now I’m drowning in tears of joy.” Another reason why there seems to be no bad blood between Ryan and Taylor is that for Halloween, she thanked him for her costume.
Blake chimed in and joked that she got a “#HusbandUpgrade” after Taylor posed as Deadpool. Taylor’s “thank you” message to Ryan could suggest that he lent her the actual costume from the film.
Rumors have similarly emerged that Ryan “had fallen head over heels” for his Deadpool co-star Morena Baccarin, but Gossip Cop claims that there’s no truth to the reports. When Ryan inadvertently revealed the sex of his second baby with Blake on Conan, he made it up to her through a simple yet sincere gesture.
The couple is known to be private when it comes to their children, but during a chat with talk show host Conan O’ Brien, Ryan said, “Two [kids] under two is tough. Yeah, a lot of estrogen. It’s like an American Girl doll took a s–t on my life.'”
Ryan said that he did not reveal their second child’s gender, he just opted not to publicize it from the start. “All that sort of stuff with kids and revealing — oh, you revealed the sex! — I didn’t ‘reveal’ anything. I just don’t feel the need to publish it. It’s a normal feeling that most people might have,” he told Today. Blake and Ryan named their eldest daughter “James” after Ryan’s father who passed away just before the baby was born.
In a recent interview with GQ, he also proved that their love remains strong when he talked about the moment where he realized that Blake’s “The One.”
“No, we were hanging out at this little restaurant in Tribeca that’s open really late, and this song came on and I was just like, ‘Want to dance?’ No one was in there, so it was just totally empty. And it was just one of those moments where halfway through the dance, it was like, ‘Oh, I think I just crossed a line.’ And then I walked her home. And, uh, you know, I don’t really need to go into what happened after that.”
While the two technically met on the set of Green Lantern, Reynolds was still married to Scarlett Johansson that time while Blake was then dating her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley. A year later, when both of them were already single, they went on a date but not as a pair – they were on a double date with different persons.
They eventually found their way to each other and secretly tied the knot in 2012 in Charleston, South Carolina. They haven’t released their wedding photos.
