Joe Jonas’ Thanksgiving Plans: Getting To Know Sophie Turner

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner appear to be heating up. The new couple was just spotted together in New York City weeks after they were rumored to be dating after they were seen at a Kings of Leon concert in New Zealand. Joe is so taken by the blonde beauty that he plans to spend Thanksgiving with her.

The two actors ignited the romance rumors when they were seen leaving a New York City hotel together on Wednesday, Nov. 23, according to E! News. Jonas was photographed keeping it cool in a light wash denim jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, and black pants. Turner, however, managed to hide her face beneath her gray knit scarf, which she paired with a black buffer coat and dark denim skinny jeans. She topped off her look with black studded boots and a leopard print tote bag.

According to People, the couple is planning to spend Thanksgiving weekend together. “He thinks she’s a cool girl,” a source told the outlet. “She’s always been into him, but he’s starting to like her more and more.”

Sources had the same info to share with Us Weekly. Apparently, the DNCE front man is really into the Game of Thrones actress.

“Joe really likes her,” a second insider told the publication. “Joe likes it that Sophie is super independent. She will buy him drinks. He totally digs it!”

Though the two have yet to confirm their relationship, a second source told Us Weekly, “She’s definitely different than the other girls he has dated.”

During his recent appearance on Live! With Kelly Ripa, Joe admitted what the Jonas family has planned for Thanksgiving this year.

“Tomorrow everybody flies in together,” he said. “We’re going to pick up our parents and go skiing in Mammoth.”

The little detail that Jonas left out was spending time with his new girlfriend. Rumors about Jonas and Turner first circulated after the pair was spotted getting cozy at a pre-MTV Europe Music Awards event. Then the couple were seen getting just as close as they watched Kings of Leon play their hit songs “Sex On Fire” and “Use Somebody” in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Turner and Jonas were also seen together on Halloween, when the former Jonas Brother dressed up as a Dalmatian and the actress wore a bunny costume.

The musician has been linked to his share of women in the past. Jonas most recently dated model Gigi Hadid for the past five months. The pair split in November 2015. His long list of exes include Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Ashley Green, and Camilla Belle. However, that hasn’t stopped Jonas from getting hit on by men. He told PrideSource that many of his male fans assume he’s gay, including the paparazzi who ask him questions and hound him on a regular basis.

“I don’t have an issue with it. I think it’s a compliment,” he said. “I do have a lot of gay fans. It’s not like it bothers me. Some people handle it differently, but at the end of the day, I’m cool with it and think it’s kind of funny.”

Some of those rumors stem from his Instagram account, where he shares shirtless selfies and sizzling photos with his over 5 million followers, according to PinkNews. Jonas has been seen working out at the gym lately. In addition, Jonas has posed shirtless for publications in lieu of his band’s debut album. Jonas has a good sense of humor about it though. He also says he gets direct messages on the social media app, and just has to “find something good in it – or laugh, depending on what it is.”
