Tamar Braxton And Loni Love Feud: Love Admits She ‘Still Loves’ Former Friend In Thanksgiving Message

Tamar Braxton and Loni Love’s nasty feud hit the headlines following Braxton’s departure from The Real back in May, but it looks like Loni may now be ready to kiss and make up with her former friend.

After months of drama between the two, which hit the headlines after Braxton was sensationally fired from the daytime talk show, Loni took to Twitter to send Tamar a little love on Thanksgiving, admitting that she’s not “too proud” to tell the world that she’s still thinking about and still loves her former co-host.

In a tweet posted to her official Twitter account at 1 a.m. Pacific on November 24, Loni wished Tamar a happy Thanksgiving in a sweet message that appeared to reveal Love is now ready to put the twosome’s bad blood behind them.

“Still love @TamarBraxtonHer,” Love wrote, alongside the hashtags #truth, #thinkinaboutyou, #happythanksgiving, #Iainttooproud, and #MommaLovesaysHi.

It’s not exactly clear what triggered Loni’s message to her former friend, though Love’s sweet message to Tamar comes just days after their pretty nasty feud hit the headlines once again.

Though Braxton is yet to reply to the message, Love’s Thanksgiving tweet for Tamar came just weeks after the comedian admitted on the social media site that she would welcome Braxton back to The Real if she ever decided to head back to the daytime talk show as a guest.

Loni made the Tamar admission on Twitter on October 30 after a fan asked if she would like to see Braxton, who appeared on the first two seasons of the Fox series as a co-host alongside Loni, Adrienne Bailon, Tamera Mowry-Housley, and Jeannie Mai, return.

“Will [you] have @TamarBraxtonHer as a guest of the @TheRealDaytime?” Twitter user @JMayday31 asked Love on the 140-character site in late October, to which Love somewhat surprisingly replied to the fan, “For me… She is always welcome.”

Tamar Braxton’s feud drama then boiled over once again earlier this week after she was accused of unfollowing her fans for voicing their support for The Real on social media, which came after Tamar also clicked the unfollow button for a number of her famous friends including Toya Wright, Monica, and Tiny Harris, after they made appearances on Season 3 of the talk show.

Loni Love’s message of love also comes shortly after The Real co-hosts all headed to Paris, France, for Adrienne’s wedding with Israel Houghton, though Braxton, who grew famously close to Bailon during her time on the show, was not in attendance.

But while it’s not yet clear exactly what triggered Loni to suddenly spread the love for Tamar on Thanksgiving, there’s no denying that the two haven’t exactly been friendly since Braxton was fired from the show in May.

TheyBF.com claimed back in May that a close friend of Tamar’s first alluded to a feud between Loni and Tamar on social media, claiming in a number of tweets that Love had not reached out to Braxton in the wake of her firing.

“How you post pictures on Instagram but not even called?” Braxton’s friend allegedly wrote on the social media site of the reported feud between Tamar and Loni. “Oh. I forgot. That’s right. You did call, the network. Don’t front for the ‘gram, babe.”

Though the Twitter user didn’t explicitly mention Loni by name, he did then add, “Ain’t no LOVE over here,” which the site speculated was his way of taking aim at Love and accusing her of posting a snap of herself and Tamar on Instagram without reaching out to Braxton directly.

The Real feud only boiled over further in the months that followed Braxton’s firing, as Tamar has made no secret of the fact that she’s no longer friendly with Loni, Jeannie, Tamera, or Jeannie after leaving the show.

Tamar went on to refer to her former The Real co-hosts as “phony b*****s” on Instagram just weeks after she was fired before their feud then escalated even further after Tamar went on a pretty scathing rant against the co-hosts on Twitter.

In a number of tweets, which have since been deleted, BET reported that Tamar didn’t hold back when calling out her former co-hosts back in August, lashing out after Tamera claimed that she and Tamar were still friendly and on speaking terms.

“I wish that I would stop being brought up since I was so BAD,” Braxton then hit back on Twitter. “No shade… but don’t believe the hype! I haven’t spoken to [anyone]… real friends don’t need press.”

Fans then questioned why her former The Real co-hosts Tamera and Adrienne attended her son Logan’s birthday party in June, to which the Braxton Family Values star confirmed a feud by hitting back that the two came to the party, took pictures and left. “[You’ve] heard of let me save my a** right?” Braxton wrote on Twitter.
