Walmart Black Friday 2016: Best Gaming Deals Include Xbox One S Bundles, PS4 Slim, Tons Of Video Games

If you haven’t done so yet, you might want to check out some of the best gaming deals available at Walmart. Black Friday 2016 is just a couple days away, and the retail giant has its share of discounts on video game products, including the Xbox One S.

Although it’s been leaked out for quite some time, Walmart’s Black Friday 2016 deals include the Battlefield 1 Xbox One S bundle, which includes the 500GB version of the console and a free copy of the latest title in the Battlefield series. That’s going to set buyers back only $250, as GameSpot wrote last week, and the deal also includes a $30 gift card for future Walmart purchases.

The Walmart website also has a couple of configurators that allow shoppers to save on other combinations of the Xbox One S and other related items, even as early as now. For the 500GB variant, you can choose from the Battlefield 1 bundle’s two color options, or the Minecraft bundle, then choose one of seven video game titles, one of eight 4K movie titles, and one of five controller choices. According to Walmart, bundles could range from $298 to $371.93, with savings of up to $115.39 (27 percent) depending on your choice of configuration.

The Xbox One S 1TB/2TB configuration is similar, with the same choices of games, movies, and controllers. Pricing could go as low as $298, should you choose the basic 1TB Gears of War 4 bundle, though if you opt for the 2TB Gears of War 4 Limited Edition bundle, that could set you back by as much as $521.94 depending on your add-ons. Savings are listed as “up to $114.41,” or up to 27 percent on the bundle.

Talking about Sony’s PlayStation 4, the best gaming deal available among Walmart’s Black Friday 2016 offerings has also been leaked for quite a while now. The Uncharted 4 PS4 Slim bundle will be sold for $250 with a free $30 gift card, though that still appears to be the only option for PS4 console buyers this Black Friday.

Fortunately, video game deals are far more plentiful, regardless of console. Battlefield 1 (the game, not the bundle) can be purchased for only $27 for both PS4 and Xbox One versions, and as CNET mentions, that’s a better deal than what Toys R Us and Target are offering for the very same game. This discount will go live at 12:01 a.m. EST on Thursday, November 24 on the Walmart website, and 6 p.m. local time in stores. CNET also notes that the deal will ideally run through all of Black Friday, though is only good while supplies last.

Though none of these games are showing as discounted as part of Walmart’s pre-Black Friday 2016 deals, the retailer will also be selling fairly new sports games like NBA 2K17, FIFA 17, WWE 2K17, and Madden NFL 17 for only $35 on Black Friday. Several other games, including Grand Theft Auto V, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, and Fallout 4 will be priced at $25, while Walmart will have its share of $15 games, such as MLB: The Show 16 and Doom. A more complete list of games can be seen on this leaked ad released earlier today on BFAds.net.

GameSpot quoted Walmart last week as saying that it should have ample stock for this year’s Black Friday deals, as it stocked more than 3 million copies of various video game titles in preparation for the busy shopping season.

Walmart also has some Black Friday 2016 discounts for those who still would want to buy an older video game console. The Xbox 360 Forza Horizon 2 bundle will be selling for $129, or $50 off list pricing. Likewise included among the retailer’s best gaming deals are Xbox One and PS4 controllers, both of which will sell for $39, or close to $21 off full pricing, as well an Xbox Live six-month subscription card for $25.
