‘Big Brother: Over the Top’ 2016 Spoilers: Did Jason Roy Use The ‘BBOTT’ POV, And What Happened During Live Feed Blackout Tuesday?
Big Brother: Over the Top (BBOTT) live feeds revealed Tuesday that drama was ever-present in the house, as houseguest Jason Roy was tasked with deciding whether he would use the Power of Veto (POV) he won Monday or whether he would keep nominations intact. In addition, a live feed blackout had fans questioning what was going on in the BBOTT house for about 30 minutes in the afternoon.
Currently, Morgan Willett is the week eight Head of Household (HOH) and nominated Jason and Kryssie Ridolfi for eviction. Jason was victorious in the POV challenge and was expected to use the gold medallion to remove himself from the chopping block. It would then be up to Morgan to choose a replacement nominee to be at risk for eviction.

At about 1:01 p.m. BBOTT house time, Jason announced to the other houseguests the POV meeting was to commence. He gave Kryssie the opportunity to speak and express why the POV should be used to save her, but she would not make a plea and told Jason not to use it on her because he beat her fair and square in the POV challenge.

Jason then predictably announced he was using the POV to save himself. Because there are so few cast members left in the BBOTT house, and Justin Duncan received a care package from America guaranteeing his safety, there was only one houseguest who was eligible to replace Jason on the chopping block. So, Morgan reluctantly nominated her only ally left in the game, Shelby Stockton, for eviction.

Live Feed Blackout
CBS promised when publicizing the all online format of BBOTT that it some ways it would be a very different game from the regular summer fare seen in Big Brother proper. Live feeds were to consistently remain active on CBS All Access 24 hours a day, seven days a week and blackouts would occur rarely if ever. As such, viewers have been able to see competitions and behind-the-scenes houseguest challenge preparation and contemplation unlike they’ve ever seen before on Big Brother.
It is true that BBOTT has seen a few live feed drops here and there, but they have been sporadic and very short. On November 22, however, at about 4:00, the live feed dropped for around 30 minutes. According to Joker’s Updates, it appears this blackout may have taken place so production could engage in some kind of setup for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Nevertheless, some viewers were left wondering whether something occurred that involved Shelby, as at about 4:35 p.m., she could be seen on live feeds dabbing her eyes. Joker’s Updates reports that when she and Morgan were together in the HOH room, Shelby started to cry and the live feed quickly switched to Jason, Kryssie, and Justin, also known as the Late Night Jamboree (LNJ) alliance, in the kitchen area.

Apparently, the LNJ were verbally bashing Shelby, as at 4:40 p.m. Joker’s Updates notes that what they were saying may have “Possibly [been] about what occurred when [live] feeds went to Fish [blackout].”

At one point when Shelby and Morgan were seen on the live feed alone in the HOH room, Morgan noted, “That was rough,” to which Shelby replied while sobbing, “Yeah.” The feed cut away from their conversation rather quickly, Joker’s Updates reports.

So, it remains unclear what exactly took place during the live feed blackout. Nonetheless, Wednesday night is the BBOTT eviction episode, which will probably involve Shelby walking out the door, and possibly an explanation regarding the blackout.
