Gucci Mane Engaged To Girlfriend Keyshia Ka’oir

Gucci Mane proposed to his girlfriend Keisha Ka’oir in a colorful style on Tuesday night in Atlanta during a basketball match between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Atlanta Hawks.

Mane squeezed in the proposal while the game was on a break at the Philips Arena. It was not a good day for the Atlanta Hawks because they were losing to their rivals, the New Orleans Pelicans, but that did not stop Gucci from exploiting his luck and turning having a good day despite his favorite team losing the game. The rapper made due and presented his long-time girlfriend with a big, beautiful diamond ring and she accepted the proposal.

“We had our ups and downs, cause I would mess up and do stupid junk, but she had my back through all of it,” Gucci told the press.

Mane and Keyshia have been dating for six years. Those six years have not been easy for either of them. Ka’oir stated in an article that she has seen Mane become a completely transformed man during the time that she was dating the rapper. He had been convicted a couple of times for a series of offenses. Mane’s latest jail term ended in May. His transformation was not only evident to Ka’oir, but also to many especially those in the hip-hop community. Mane became the subject of discussion after he got out of jail because people thought that he was too different from the hip hop artist that they were so used to. Some even claimed that he had been cloned.

“He’s grown up now, like, ‘I no longer have to hide this part of me — either you like it or you don’t,'” Ka’oir stated.

Ka’oir claims that she has always known Gucci to be the same person that everyone sees as a new man. Perhaps she meant that she has always seen the best in him. Despite her claim, she was definitely surprised by the huge diamond ring that Mane presented during the proposal. It was a victorious day for her because she has remained loyal to Mane through the good and the bad. She could not help but flaunt her incredible-looking ring. Keyshia is also an independent and successful entrepreneur with a makeup business and a fitness equipment business. She has 1.7 million followers on Instagram.

Gucci Mane has clearly been through a lot of change. His bad boy look and hardcore hip hop style made created a façade of the kind of artists that never want to settle down. It looks like somewhere along the way he met the lady who changed his mind. The two are clearly smitten since they have been together for about six years.

The night got even more exciting because there was a contest in between quarters and Mane gave out a Rolex watch to the winner. Gucci also spread his good mood by performing during half time where he got the fans to join him in performing the mannequin challenge in which he acted as “Black Beatles.” His hit song which he collaborated Rae Sremmurd was also played in the basketball arena.

Social media lit up with comments and well wishes to Mane on his proposal to Ka’oir. The NBA also commended the artist on Twitter. Of course, the ladies could not stop glancing, envying and talking about Ka’oir’s new engagement ring. She has since then posted photos of the diamond ring on social media to give her fans a closer look. It will probably trend as much as Gucci trended after he came out of prison looking so different.

It was overall a great day for the hip-hop artist, his fiancée, and the NBA fraternity, thanks to Gucci Mane’s captivating performance and proposal.
