Miranda Lambert Gets Revenge On Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani With New Album

Miranda Lambert hasn’t only moved on from Blake Shelton, who is currently dating Gwen Stefani, but she may finally be getting her revenge on her ex-husband and his new girlfriend with the release of her new album. The 33-year-old country singer launched The Weight of These Wings on November 18 and it already received positive reviews from music critics.

Rolling Stone reportedly raved over her album as it tackled breakups, booze, friendships, fetishes, old scars, and new beginnings. The magazine also compared her record to Blake’s breakup album which they claimed was rushed. It must have been difficult for the country charmer to hear that kind of comparison with his former wife.

“Gwen has got to be devastated by what a modern country masterpiece Miranda’s made,” Lambert’s pal told In Touch. “With Miranda’s album making news like this, it’s a constant reminder of Blake’s past with another woman — and how she’s just on an entirely different level than Gwen.”

The Pistol Annies member recently shared a teaser of The Weight of These Wings – Part 2: The Heart on Instagram. She tried to explain the connection of the brain with the heart. The blonde beauty also revealed that the music that she makes has something to do with the heart that’s why listeners would most probably discover what she had gone through after her divorce from Blake.

Maybe that’s why The Voice coach refuses to let his girlfriend listen to his ex-wife’s album. According to Hollywood Life, Stefani has been obsessing over Lambert’s new record but she doesn’t have a chance to listen to her songs yet because Shelton is currently staying at her home in Beverly Hills. The 40-year-old country superstar has a rule that they won’t play any of her song.

The 47-year-old pop star can relate to what the Vice hitmaker has gone through since she also recently got divorced from Gavin Rossdale. The “No Doubt” lead singer reportedly caught the Bush frontman cheating on her with their former nanny Mindy Mann. While Shelton and Stefani snob Lambert’s new music, her boyfriend Anderson East has been very supportive. He posted a photo of her album cover on Instagram and wrote: “Couldn’t be more proud of this woman. True artist, true voice, true heart.”

Anderson seems to be really in love with Miranda and he has started letting everyone know how he feels for her. The 28-year-old rhythm and blues musician shared their adorable photo during the 2016 CMA Awards on Instagram. The songstress may not have won the Female Vocalist of the Year but she appeared like a winner with her stunning look and supportive boyfriend by her side. He even claimed that he was the big winner that night because he has the singer as his girlfriend.

Aside from being her partner in love, the Alabama-born singer is also her partner in music. According to Hollywood Life, Anderson was a guest vocalist in Miranda’s song “Pushin’ Time” which is included in the two-disc record The Weight of These Wings. Their duet was a timeline of their love story and they admitted that their relationship may have been rushed, since Lambert started dating East only a few months after her divorce, but she hopes that it will last until they are older. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton collaborated on a song when they were still married. Their hit track “Over You” won Song of the Year at the 2012 CMA Award and 2013 ACM Award. Maybe the songstress’ duet with Anderson East, “Pushin’ Time” will also give her a few awards especially when they officially release the music video for the soft love song. If that happens, then this will be an ultimate revenge on her ex-husband and his new lover.
