Kelly Dodd was gearing up for her last episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County yesterday as the third part of the dramatic reunion was going to air on Bravo. But throughout the day, the news broke that a school bus had crashed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and several children had been killed, with many more children injured. It was a devastating news to get for the parents in Chattanooga yesterday, and Kelly felt the devastation to the point where she wanted to say something to her fans. So around the time that the third installment of the reunion was to air last night, she chose to tweet about the bus crash.
According to a new tweet, Kelly Dodd’s tweet about the Chattanooga crash wasn’t exactly what people expected, especially so close to the reunion special. While Dodd just wanted her feelings and thoughts to be shared, viewers of The Real Housewives of Orange County were very harsh with their comments, including how people just don’t like her. It sounds like some people can’t separate her role on the show with who she is when she isn’t filming.

“Wy would you post that when she was sending condolences to people who lost their children…insensitive & rude,” another person wrote in defense of Kelly Dodd, sharing that Dodd was just expressing her thoughts and sending her condolences to the families affected by this horrible and sudden crash.
Some loyal viewers of The Real Housewives of Orange County are not huge fans of Kelly Dodd. They don’t like how she couldn’t control her anger, even though she claims she was provoked throughout the season. And one person decided to point to her followers on Twitter in comparison to the women who have been on the show for years. Despite it being an unfair comparison, Kelly had her answer ready.

Other viewers absolutely adored Dodd on this season of the show. Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, and Shannon Beador were labeled as the mean girls this season, and Kelly Dodd was one of the only women who was able to stand up to them. And she definitely won over some people who appreciated her tweet about the Chattanooga bus crash.

“LMAO I LOVE you Kelly. You are somebody, and these people are nobody. Keep doing U, we love u lots,” one person wrote in support of Kelly, while another wrote, ” I’m glad you put B***hy Bossy Pants in her place. She’s a snob who acts like she’s better than you and everybody else #RHOC.”
But other people are hoping that she will change her attitude a bit if she comes back for a second season, writing comments like, “There may be fans but sweetie…oh sweetie. Girl, baby girl. You are simply not likable. (Not to be mean but, damn girl)” and “could be your last season if you don’t drop that snotty attitude. I wanted to like you, thought you were fun but true colors.”
Bravo hasn’t announced the new cast yet, but given how Kelly stirred up this season of the show, it would make sense to bring her back. She definitely adds something new and interesting to the series, even though she may need to work on her delivery sometimes.
