Ann Coulter Attacked By Special Olympics Over ‘Retard’ Use

Ann Coulter has come under attack by officials at the Special Olympics because of her use of the word “retard.”

The conservative mouthpiece recently used the word to describe President Obama, and that use did not sit well with the Special Olympics committee. An organizer for the sporting event tells TMZ:

“We are disappointed in [Ann’s] regular use of the word despite our constituents regular appeals to her for compassion.”

The Special Olympics rep adds:

“[We] welcome an open invitation for her to be involved in an educational meeting with our athletes to understand the demeaning use of the R-word in everyday speech.”

Coulter’s use of the nasty language was her second offense in just three months. In a tweet sent out after the third Presidential debate, Coulter wrote:

“I highly approve of Romney’s decision to be kind and gentle to the retard.”

Ann’s first offense also came in the form of a tweet when she attacked MSNBC host Chris Matthews back in August.

The use of the word retard didn’t sit well with Coulter’s fellow conservative pundit Michelle Malkin, who tweeted:

“What a stupid, shallow thing to say, Ann.”

Here’s Ann Coulter’s classy tweet aimed at Obama:

Thousands of tweets have criticized Ann Coulter for the use of her inappropriate name calling.

Do you think Ann Coulter has went over the line by using the “R word” against Obama?
