Days of Our Lives spoilers broke the news that it wasn’t going to be a happily ever after kind of wedding for Adrienne and Lucas, and now, according to the next set of spoilers, the story that we were hinting at might come true.

As the Inquisitr reported, Adrienne collapsed at her wedding to Lucas before she could exchange vows. While the initial theory was that she was under immense pressure after Justin interrupted the ceremony to express his feelings for her, there might be something more pressing going on with Adrienne’s health. Instead of coming to, Adrienne was unconscious for longer than usual, so she was rushed to the hospital. This definitely pointed to the fact that not all is well. The Inquisitr had reported that this might hint to a big cancer storyline involving Adrienne.

In previous Days of Our Lives spoilers, the rumor was discussed that an upcoming character would get cancer. At the time, Celeb Dirty Laundry theorized that it would make sense that Adrienne would be the character who receives the devastating diagnosis because she has the gene that makes her more susceptive to breast cancer. To the dismay of many fans, it’s looking more and more likely that this rumor may come true.

That said, the health scare, no matter what the end diagnosis is, will give Adrienne some pause to really think about her future. Will she go ahead and marry Lucas or will she realize that she still has feelings for Justin? This is something she’ll have to really deal with once she wakes up. It brings into question, who she actually wants to rest by her bedside. For those fans that desperately want Lucas to be happy, you might have to wait a bit.

Days of Our Lives spoilers state that this health scare will lead to Adrienne being extra careful in going through with another wedding. While she was all ready to walk down the aisle and exchange vows with Lucas, Justin’s confession and her health weighing heavily on her mind, will give her some time to really think about getting her next relationship right. This might lead to Adrienne putting a pause button on her relationship with Lucas. As reported by Celeb Dirty Laundry, she doesn’t want another divorce on her hands if she can help it.

So where’s Justin in all of this? Well, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry, he still wants his feelings to be known when it comes to his love for Adrienne. He’s convinced that no one can make Adrienne happy the way he can, and he doesn’t think Lucas is the one for her, even though Lucas, obviously disagrees. According to the source, Lucas will point out that Justin disappointed and betrayed Adrienne, and because of his actions, it gave Adrienne trust issues, which took her a long time to heal from.

In other Days of Our Lives spoiler news, other couples hang in the balance. There’s the big question of whether or not Abby will reunite with Chad. It was suspected that Abby was dead, but after she turned up in Salem, fans are hopeful that she will eventually have to bite the bullet and confront her husband Chad, which might bring them together for good. According to TV Guide, Abby has great doubts that Chad still loves her because of their separation, but despite Abby’s doubts, fans have hope that they will rekindle their love.
