Sheree Whitfield’s House: ‘RHOA’ Fans To See Finished Product At The End Of The Season?

Sheree Whitfield has been working on her Chateau Sheree for about five years now, as she bought the property and got the first set of contractors on the grounds back in 2010. Whitfield has admitted that she ran into some financial troubles along the way while she was building her home, so it has taken her a lot longer than she expected when she started the process. But within a few months, she was back on track again.

On this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Whitfield invited the cameras into her home, sharing that it is very close to being done. She’s now working with an interior designer to make the home just perfect.

According to a new Bravo report, Sheree Whitfield is now revealing that fans will get to see the final product sooner rather than later. While she may have filmed inside her home with the Bravo cameras, she is teasing that she’s more than ready to show off her home to The Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers once the season ends. And she recently opened up to Bravo about her favorite rooms in the home.

“I LOVE my kitchen/keeping room! It’s the heart of our home. Family and friends always seem to congregate in that area in all the homes I’ve lived in. It’s been a long road, but this home is a part of the legacy I want to leave to my family, and it had to be done right,” Sheree Whitfield explained about her journey to build her home, according to Bravo. “I’ve learned so much about myself throughout this process, and I’m proud to say that I did this on my own with the love, support, and encouragement of my family and friends. Family is everything to me!”

Even though her family is very important to Whitfield, she isn’t eager to have her children move in. Sheree opened up about her plans to live in the mansion alone, but how she would always have an open-door policy for her children so they could come over for special occasions. On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Sheree Whitfield said that her daughter could continue to live in her own townhouse.

On the show, Whitfield hasn’t planned a housewarming party, and she was surprised to see that Kenya Moore had her housewarming party long before the home was done. Sheree kept talking about her co-star’s home and how there was dust everywhere and how the home was dirty. After Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams were kicked out of the party, Sheree Whitfield ended up leaving as well. But she now admits that it was never her plan to leave the party.

“Initially I wasn’t going to leave the housewarming. I went outside to check on Porsha and find out what exactly happened and why she exited stage left. I had already been at the party for a while, so I figured I could slip out unnoticed and help the girls get to their car,” Sheree Whitfield explained to Bravo in an interview about the first few episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

But Whitfield did think it was a good idea to get people together to talk about their issues and have some fun, which Porsha Williams planned during their outing to the Mystery Rooms.

“It was super fun! I’m very competitive, and I love all types of team building activities. It forced us out of our comfort zones, made us work together, and communicate with each other,” Whitfield explained to Bravo, even though the day ended up bring more dramatic than she had anticipated.
