‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Dylan Makes A Decision That Shocks Genoa City, Will He Fight For Joint Custody Of Christian?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Dylan (Steve Burton) makes a decision that will leave much of Genoa City speechless. Dylan and Sharon (Sharon Case) are upset that Nick (Joshua Morrow) has cut them out of Christian’s life, and want to force him to allow them to see him. It seemed to imply that they will fight for custody of the tyke and believe that a judge will grant them, at the very least, visitation rights. If Dylan decides to take Nick to court, will his mother, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) support his decision?

Soap Opera Digest reported that Nikki vows to have her whole family at her home for Thanksgiving, well that is everyone but Sharon. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Dylan considers leaving Sharon behind for a few hours, but decides to spend time with his beautiful wife instead. He respectfully declined the dinner invitation and made plans with Sharon.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Sharon and Dylan decide to have dinner with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), Kevin (Greg Rikaart), and her daughter, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) at Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) penthouse. Sharon and Dylan arrive just as Nick, Christian, Chelsea, and Connor were leaving to spend an afternoon at Victor’s (Eric Braeden) home for Thanksgiving.

“It’s a very awkward and uncomfortable situation,” Joshua Morrow explains. “Nick knows that Sharon and Dylan and hurting. He can see the pain in their eyes. He knows how difficult this must be for both of them, but believes the more they see Christian, the harder it will be for them to move on.”

Nick isn’t ready to forgive Sharon and wants to leave quickly to avoid any argument with Sharon and Dylan. It appeared as if he was trying to keep Christian from them, but it wasn’t the whole truth. The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Dylan may feel shut out of Christian’s life, and comes to a decision. It appears he will decide to fight for joint custody, and decides to stay with Sharon, despite the devastating baby lie.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that Dylan hadn’t forgiven Sharon for lying to him, but he isn’t ready to give up on his marriage just yet. He believes that Sharon is a good person that made a terrible mistake. Moreover, he thinks that she’s more than paid the price for her mistake—she had to give up Sully (Christian). The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate they move at trying to repair their marriage and try to move on from the devastating loss.

“It’s heartbreaking for Sharon and Dylan,” Steve Burton explained. “Nick’s standing there holding Christian. They’re being reminded of everything they lost. Nick is tired of running into them and wants to avoid it at all cost. Nick hates what Sharon did, and he’s very upset with her. At the same time, Dylan is his brother, and he is innocent in this mess.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sharon believes that she could be helpful to Nick and help Christian transition and get used to his new surroundings, but Nick refuses to allow her to help. Nick’s abrupt departure without giving them a moment to spend with Christian upsets both Sharon and Dylan. It prompts Dylan to come to a shocking decision, one that could divide the Newman family forever.

“Dylan’s got these emotions rushing through his mind,” Steve Burton explained. “Yes, Dylan knows that Nick is Christian’s dad, but he raised him for a year. And, now, Nick wants to force Dylan and Sharon out of his life. Nick may not be saying that, but that is exactly what is happening.”
