‘The Flash’ Season 3: Things To Know About Savitar, Wally West’s Fate And Killer Frost

The Flash has had multiple speedster villains but it seems like Savitar is in a league of his own. In The Flash Season 3, Episode 6, Savitar introduces himself in style, his speed is clearly on a whole different level to Barry and his other speedster foes.

Savitar tells a stunned Barry Allen that he is the “god of speed” and that may not be a stretch. Savitar can steal speed or grant it, which may be a problem for Barry and a good thing for Wally West, who spent most of the episode fantasizing about having the powers he had in Flashpoint where he is Kid Flash.

Alchemy is clearly working with Savitar. However, it is not clear what dynamic the two villains have with each other. Savitar is clearly the boss and Barry is going to have to recruit more help to defeat this speedster.

Savitar looks very different from his appearance in the comics, where he has long black hair and a muscular frame. In The Flash Season 3 Episode 6, Savitar looks more like one of Megatron’s minions, rather than a speedster. He is also so fast that only Barry could see him as his ran through Joe’s men. Also, don’t be surprised if Savitar takes away Barry’s speed for now or stabs him with his metal suit.

What happened to Wally West? He seemed to be under Alchemy’s control or his desire to have powers has overtaken his common sense. We last saw Wally transform into some form of extraterrestrial cocoon after touching Alchemy’s amulet. Some fans suspect that Wally West will turn into a villain for some part of the season while he is under Alchemy’s control.

The Flash Season 3, Episode 7 will focus on Killer Frost as Caitlin turns evil. Cisco Ramon has already “vibed” the future, and we know that Caitlin is going to struggle with her powers. The promo features Barry and the crew trying to stop Caitlin from turning into Killer Frost, but it is yet to be determined whether they have any success with it.

Caitlin went to her mother to figure out how to get rid of her powers. While her mother couldn’t do much to help her, she warned her daughter that using her powers will essentially make her more evil. In the next episode, the synopsis per ScreenRant, reveals that Caitlin uses her powers to save Barry from one of the villains and consequently, Caitlin or Killer Frost is totally out of control.

“Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) uses her powers to save Barry (Grant Gustin) but as her mother predicted, the effort unleashes her inner Killer Frost. Killer Frost goes on a rampage looking for Dr. Alchemy, kidnapping Julian (Tom Felton) and battling both The Flash and Vibe (Carlos Valdes). Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) have a heart to heart talk.”

Greg Grunberg has been cast in a reoccurring role in The Flash Season 3 and will appear in the episode airing next week. He will play a detective Tom Patterson, who is dedicated to taking out metahumans who do harm in the city.

We knew that Flashpoint will have serious consequences for Barry and his friends. So far, it seems like the negative effects of Barry’s selfish actions are permanent and he may lose Caitlin next episode.

Tom Cavanagh’s HR doesn’t seem to be as useful as the previous Harrison Wells from Earth 2. HR is a novelist and doesn’t seem to have much skills in science. HR may have some social skills that may come in handy since the synopsis for The Flash Episode 7 suggest that he helps talk down Caitlin.
