Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt’s Kids Are Reportedly Begging To Spend Thanksgiving As A Family

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are about to be faced with their first post-divorce holiday.

According to a new report, the recently separated couple will soon be celebrating Thanksgiving apart, and their six children, including Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8, are allegedly upset about it.

“[Brad Pitt] and the children are upset and saddened as they begin to plan for their first Thanksgiving apart from each other,” a source told Hollywood Life on November 16. “Angelina and Brad have been discussing, via their assistants, how they are going to handle Thanksgiving with the children.”

Brad Pitt and Jolie parted ways about two months ago after two years of marriage and a 12-year relationship, and ever since they split, the estranged couple has reportedly been at odds over the custody of their kids. There was also a child abuse case brought against Brad Pitt shortly after he and Jolie called it quits, but earlier this month, the case was closed by the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services.

While most former partners split time equally with their children when it comes to the holidays, Jolie reportedly wants all day with her kids. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt allegedly wants to spend time with the kids, as well.

“It looks like the kids might be eating a lot of turkey as [Angelina Jolie] insists they spend Thanksgiving day with her while Brad is asking that the children come over on another day, maybe Friday or Saturday to enjoy a traditional dinner with him and his side of the family,” the insider explained.

Brad Pitt is currently living by himself in Los Feliz at the home he once shared with Jolie and their kids. Meanwhile, his estranged wife and their children are now residing in Malibu, California, where they’ve been renting a beach home since the couple’s split.

Although Jolie has provided a great home for her kids as they adjust to living solely with their mother, the Hollywood Life source claimed the children were allegedly begging her and their father to get back together.

“The kids are not handling the news well and are still begging their parents to get back together but Angelina has been letting them know, that’s not going to happen,” the source added.

Just a short time ago, another Hollywood Life source claimed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s kids were reportedly feeling homesick as they remained with their mother. According to the report, the 41-year-old actress was allegedly struggling to make her large family happy.

“Angelina Jolie has been struggling with keeping the kids happy,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “It’s been weeks since the kids moved out of their home and they are getting homesick. The children are sad, miss the huge house they grew up in, and have been complaining to Angelina that they want to go home. The older children are not happy with the situation while the younger kids are having trouble understanding why they can’t just go home.”

Although the Pitt-Jolie family purchased numerous homes during their relationship, including a home in New Orleans and another in France, the brood reportedly felt that they were at home in Los Feliz, where their father, Brad Pitt, built them a huge skate ramp.

“They may have lots of houses but the Los Feliz house has always been home,” the source explained.

While Brad Pitt stayed out of the spotlight for the first several weeks after his split, he has since returned to the spotlight as he continues to promote his upcoming film, Allied, which hits theaters on November 23.
