Kate Upton has undergone a weight loss transformation ever since she started lifting weights. However, that hasn’t stopped the rumors from circulating that she has gotten butt surgery.
Reports surfaced on celebrity gossip blogs that Kate Upton has gotten either butt implants or injections. One infamous blog noted that the model has undergone butt enhancement surgery and is now “real proud of her curves.” Some of the blogs even claim she even “leaked” a photo of her butt after her Twitter meltdown. The supposed photo that Upton “leaked” is hard to find on her social media sites.
According to Gossip Cop, Upton did not get surgery done on her behind. A source close to the model told the outlet that the story is “not true.” Upton’s fans know that she regularly posts videos and photos of herself working out on Instagram. According to Self, Upton and her trainer, Ben Bruno, revealed to fans they are trying something different.
“I invented a new workout,” Upton is heard joking in the video. “It’s called sitting on your a**. Everyone’s doing it.” Then, she pans the camera over to Bruno, and her dog, who are also trying out her “new workout.”
Bruno previously spoke to People about Kate’s intense fitness regimen, which includes working out five or six days a week for an hour at a time.
“One of the key tenets of my program is progressive overload,” he stated. “We do slow increases over time, so you build gradually. It’s important to always strive to be better, whether that’s with more weights or reps or moving to a harder exercise. With Kate, we do all three at different points, so we’ve gradually built up.”
He stated that Upton can deadlift over 200 pounds, can do sled pushes with 500 pounds, and do bear crawls with 300 pounds, so it’s obviously where she got her new booty from. Here’s some video proof of Upton’s incredible strength.
Back in August, the 24-year-old model shared one of her butt and leg-toning workouts on Instagram. In the video, as seen below, Upton is seen lifting heavy weights several times in a row.
Ben told E! News that Kate’s workout doesn’t just involve strength training. He also combines cardio and circuit training.
“We do cardio, just not in the traditional sense,” he admitted. “We do strength based circuit training. It’s all weights. We are doing weights and we are focusing on getting stronger.”
It’s not just about working out, it’s also about eating right. Ben had to discipline Kate the importance of eating healthy foods such as turkey and meatballs and salads with chicken.
“There is no magic in the program we do or really any program it’s just really consistency,” he told the outlet. “It’s hard work. It’s focusing on your performance in the gym, focusing on actually getting stronger and being disciplined in your eating.”
Unlike most would assume, Upton does not starve. Though her diet begs for healthy meals, she gets to indulge every once in a while, according to Starpulse. Upton tends to stay away from the crash diets that models are known to turn to.
“She’s very disciplined with her diet,” says Bruno. “She doesn’t crash diet, doesn’t do fasting or cleanses. It’s just very sensible, healthy eating. She really limits sugar, gets protein with every meal, and has cut down on alcohol. It’s healthy; it’s not a starvation diet. And she sticks to it.”
