'Fifty Shades Darker' Star Jamie Dornan Opens Up About His Sex Life: Does He Bring Christian Grey Into The Bedroom?

When it comes to his personal life, Jamie Dornan doesn't bring his work home. The actor recently opened up about his sex life with Amelia Warner and revealed that it's nothing like his Fifty Shades Darker character, Christian Grey.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Dornan is not into the BDSM scene, especially when it comes to spending time in the bedroom with Warner. Despite portraying Grey on the big screen for all three films, Dornan hasn't let the character's erotic tendencies influence his own life.

"No. I'm not into that. My wife isn't either. It's funny. Obviously there's a huge market for it, a lot of people are into a certain type of sex but I am just not one of those people. It doesn't interest me at all. So, I don't think those roles have had any influence over our sex life."

Adding to the mix, there are also rumors that Dornan's marriage is on the rocks. Of course, none of these rumors have been substantiated, and it sounds like Dornan and Warner have a pretty normal marriage, at least in the bedroom.

In fact, The Stir is reporting that Dornan's love life is anything but hot and steamy. In addition to being different from Christian Grey, the actor's sex life is nothing like his character on The Fall, where he portrays serial killer Paul Spector, who also enjoys a little bondage and torture.

Meanwhile, although Dornan has shed his clothing for both roles, he admitted that he hates keeping his body in top shape. In preparation for his role in Fifty Shades Darker, Dornan had to increase the intensity of his workouts, which isn't something he enjoyed.

"I'm not very good at working on my physique but I had to run a lot for The Fall and for Fifty Shades, of course, you have to work out a lot. I don't enjoy it massively, more so because it takes up a lot of time," Dornan revealed.

Part of the reason why Dornan dislikes working out is because of his growing family. He doesn't like spending so much time away from the house and would rather stay fit playing his favorite sport, rugby.

"I've got young kids and I don't want to be away from them in a gym just pushing heavy stuff around, that's not fun," he stated. "I would rather be fit doing sport. I still love sport and played rugby as a kid. I still cling to some belief that I am going to play sport professionally when the acting dries up in about a year. I go through phases. I never watch what I eat, I am terrible about that."

Dornan might not like staying in shape, but he doesn't mind showing off his trim body in front of the cameras. Given his stance on nudity, Fifty Shades fans can only hope they'll be seeing more of Dornan in the near future.

"I don't really care about the whole nudist aspect of what is required of me as an actor. I hope there's some degree of modesty remaining but I am not a prude in any way, I wasn't brought up that way," he admitted.

Speaking of Fifty Shades Darker, The Hollywood Reporter just revealed that the sequel's trailer was just dethroned as the most watched movie trailer. The first look at Disney's Beauty and the Beast garnered some 127.6 million views in its first day across all digital platforms, which tops Fifty Shades Darker's 114 million.

Despite falling from first place, fans will undoubtedly show up in huge numbers to watch the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel next year. Although many were disappointed with the first film's level of nudity, E! News revealed that Fifty Shades Darker barely avoided an NC-17 rating.

The movie just received an R rating for "strong erotic sexual content, some graphic nudity, and language." The trailer revealed that some of this sexual content includes a steamy shower scene between Dornan's Grey and Dakota Johnson's Anastasia Steele, and a mysterious masquerade ball.

Fifty Shades Darker will see the return of Dornan and Johnson as the lead lovers, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Author E.L. James is working as a producer alongside Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti.

The movie also stars Bella Heathcote, Eric Johnson, Marcia Gay Harden, Luke Grimes, Hugh Dancy, Robin Lee, Rita Ora, Kim Basinger, Eloise Mumford, and Fay Masterson.

Fans can watch Dornan in action when Fifty Shades Darker hits theaters on Feb. 10, 2017. The third film in the trilogy, Fifty Shades Freed, is scheduled for release a year later.
