Blac Chyna just earned her place in the Celebrity Weight Loss Winners Hall Of Fame, flaunting her weight loss of 21 pounds total, 10 days after she and new daddy Rob Kardashian welcomed baby Dream into the world. Turning to Instagram, both Blac and Rob have shown their determination to shed their excess pounds. Now Chyna is showing that she’s leading the way on their shedding-for-the-wedding diet.
For those who thought that Blac had some sort of mommy makeover in the form of weight loss surgery, she set the record straight, reported E! News.
After the co-star of Rob & Chyna flaunted her whittled waistline on social media, speculation from fans about how she lost weight so fast included surgery. Kardashian and Blac’s daughter Dream Kardashian was born via C-section, and some surgeons do offer “mini” tummy tucks right after a C-section, noted the media outlet. But the reality TV star told her fans that is not her secret.
“So I posted a picture of my belly yesterday and the only reason it got that flat, you guys, is from breastfeeding and breast pumping and from my body already being small before my pregnancy,” shared Chyna.
“Yeah, sorry, try again. Not surgery guys.”
Blac also shared on Snapchat that her total loss thus far is 21 pounds since giving birthday 10 days ago to Rob’s first child (Dream is Chyna’s second child). She credits part of her weight loss to breastfeeding.
When it comes to an occasion at which Blac could flaunt her weight loss, she and Kardashian were planning their wedding during her pregnancy, according to OK! magazine.
“We have a date picked out,” revealed Chyna, 28, during an interview for On Air With Ryan Seacrest. “I obviously wanted to do it when I wasn’t pregnant so we could turn up!”
Now that Blac and Rob have their baby Dream, what do the wedding plans involve? With Kardashian’s sisters as bridesmaids, the march down the aisle is set to be a family affair. Chyna expressed her confidence that her wedding day would arrive.
“We’re just doing one step at a time. Like first the baby and having these things come first, and then I feel like the wedding will follow after,” she shared.
Rob also discussed their wedding plans, reported ET.
While Chyna plans to include some of Kardashian’s sisters in their “big wedding,” it’s not so easy for Rob.
“I got no friends and the guys in this family keep disappearing but Kanye!” Kardashian pointed out, then gave credit to Blac for helping him turn his life around.
“I needed an outsider to help me. I couldn’t do it all myself.”
While Chyna has been flaunting her slimdown success, Rob is causing his mom Kris Jenner to feel “nervous for his health,” according to Hollywood Life.
Kardashian, 29, is a proud new daddy, but his mother is concerned about Rob’s “depression and weight loss issues,” the media outlet told readers.
“Kris hates seeing Rob struggle with his weight and depression, but she loves that he is now a father and she hopes that this will be the door that opens into Rob becoming healthy,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life. “She hopes that [fatherhood] is the impetus for him becoming the man she always has hoped he would become.”
When it comes to the specifics of how Chyna and Kardashian are shedding for that wedding, he shared his motivation on social media even before the baby was born, noted CNN.
“Oh yeah we snapping back lol,,, baby will be here in four weeks and I’m done with carrying this pregnancy weight,” wrote Blac’s baby daddy. “Me and my baby gonna be righttttttt,,, MOTIVATION TIME‼️”
Kardashian posted throwback photos on Instagram of both himself and Blac, along with his vow.
Chyna has been candid with her followers about her own post-pregnancy goal, noted Hollywood Take.
“Goal 130lbs my starting weight b4 Dream.”
In addition, Blac turned to social media to share some of her meals, which include low carb choices ranging from salmon and salad to yogurt and sausage. Prior to giving birth, she had shared that she wanted to gain “100 lbs. this pregnancy,” vowing to “tear it up, then…snap back.”
Even while she was still pregnant, Chyna planned her post-baby weight loss regime, reported OK! magazine, which cited an insider’s description of her plan, including “an hour of weights, 240 squats and pole training.”
In addition, the source revealed that Blac’s weight loss program eliminated junk food and consisted of a “high protein, low carb diet.”
Since starting his romance with her, Kardashian has experienced some success in taking off the pounds. The Daily Mail reported that Rob lost 40 pounds with a low carb diet. In addition to cutting out carbs, Kardashian cut out red meat, reported the media outlet. He also headed to the gym five times a week following his gain of 100 pounds.
