Karrueche Tran Addresses Chris Brown Reunion Rumors In New Interview, Says ‘Boys Are Trouble’

Karrueche Tran may be busy with her various modeling projects, as well as filming the pilot for her new TNT television series, Claws, but that doesn’t stop the Emmy-winning actress from also remaining focused on her philanthropy. Speaking with Good Day New York on November 17, Karrueche Tran discusses her role as a panelist for the upcoming Women’s Equality Day conference at the United Nations, her latest television project, as well as the newly resurfaced Chris Brown reconciliation rumors that have been plaguing the model since the duo’s abrupt split in 2015.

On Thursday, Karrueche Tran sat down with the Fox 5 New York network show to discuss a variety of topics including her advocacy for women’s empowerment and upcoming television series on TNT before delving into a discussion regarding her on-again, off-again relationship with former boyfriend and “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer, Chris Brown.

Speaking on her position as a fellow for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, which is a globally recognized day dedicated to supporting women-owned and women-led businesses around the world, Karrueche admits that she’s “excited” to be speaking at this year’s United Nations conference on November 18, where she will be discussing her “With Love” movement that she launched in late 2015.

“Tomorrow we are celebrating at the UN, which is huge! I’m very excited. I’m speaking on a panel and they’re giving us an opportunity to speak about anything we’d like that we think is important or that can change the world,” Karrueche explained of her role at the WED. “I’m going to be speaking about my ‘With Love’ movement, which pretty much promotes positivity and love, the power of living each day through your heart with love whether it be in your workspace, relationships, friendships, even something as simple as walking down the street and smiling and saying ‘hello’ to somebody.”

Karrueche continues, “It’s just embracing the love and the power of love that I think, in today’s society, is kind of missing a bit. I have a huge, great platform, a great audience [where] I can use my voice to spread that message.”

Continuing her discussion on empowering women in business, Karrueche Tran then delves into her various projects as both a model and an actress, revealing her position as a lifestyle and commercial/print model for Wilhelmina as well as dishing on her starring role in the TNT pilot series, Claws.

“I’ve got so much going on, I just shot a pilot for TNT that’s executive produced by Rashida Jones alongside Niecy Nash which is huge for me. I can’t wait for it to come out,” Karrueche admits, before noting that she has her “fingers crossed” that the series will be picked up by the network for the future.

In addition, Tran also addresses speculation suggesting that she may be nervous about ex-boyfriend Chris Brown’s upcoming new album, Lost & Found (Heartbreak On A Full Moon), as Karrueche has been known to serve as inspiration for several of Brown’s musical hits, most recently including his “Back To Sleep (Remix)” collaboration with Usher and Zayn Malik that dropped earlier this year.

When asked if she’s concerned about what Brown may reveal on his upcoming album, Karrueche explains, “No, not at all. I’m in a place right now where I’m so happy, I’m so focused on my career,” before further discussing her TNT pilot for Claws.

When hosts further press Karrueche about the ongoing speculation suggesting that she and Chris Brown are due to reconcile given the nature of their on-again, off-again romance, Karrueche admits, “No, I’m worried about myself.
