Was Khloe Kardashian dumped by Tristan Thompson because of the supposed fact that his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates didn’t approve of the relationship?

It’s no secret that Khloe had been dating Tristan for the past two months, having made endless trips from Los Angeles to Cleveland in order to support her boyfriend in the midst of planning their future together.

There had been reports claiming that the twosome were even considering the idea of having children and getting married together — nobody expected the couple to split up, that’s for sure.

Hollywood Life makes it known that several outlets have been reporting about an alleged split between Khloe Kardashian and her basketball player boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.

The news site claims that a particular source alleged that Khloe Kardashian was no longer with Thompson because the athlete had grown tired of being the punching bag to his teammates, who ridiculed him for dating a Kardashian.

The likes of Lebron James didn’t seem to be happy with the fact that Tristan was dating Khloe, it was claimed, stressing that the basketball legend feared Thompson would be distracted while dating the 32-year-old.

The Kardashians have a history when it comes to dating athletes, and it’s rare for those who have had a relationship with them to sustain a successful career. A great example that fans often use is Lamar Odom and Kris Humphries, who both experienced career downfalls after having dated or married a Kardashian.

Regarding Khloe’s relationship drama with Tristan, a source, as cited by Hollywood Life, reveals, “Everyone was [teasing] Tristan calling him ‘Kardashian’ in the locker room. It’s messed up because I think [Tristan] really cared for that girl [Khloe].”

The outlet describes the story to be bogus because it was only days ago when an insider close to the celebrity gossip site claimed that Tristan and Khloe Kardashian were very much still an item.

The couple has struggled to find time for one another in recent weeks but that hasn’t stopped them from trying to support one another as much as they can. Khloe has been flying out to Cleveland whenever she’s off from work and they’ve managed so far.

Regarding claims that they have broken up, sources tell Hollywood Life that they are very much still together, which Daily Mail affirms, adding that fans shouldn’t buy into the stories concerning Khloe’s alleged breakup with the athlete.

“Dating a guy that’s so much younger is never something [Khloe] saw herself doing, but it’s really working for her right now,” an insider gushed earlier this week before reports claimed the NBA star abruptly decided to end his romance with the socialite.

“It’s fun and carefree and [Tristan’s] just so hot; she can’t stop bragging about how amazing their sex life is. She’s been saying he’s the best she’s ever had! She’s in the giddy stage right now.”

Khloe Kardashian has yet to respond to claims that she was dumped by Tristan Thompson, but considering the fact that she was just in Cleveland earlier this week to support the NBA player, there’s not much that she would have to clear up.

Her relationship with Tristan has been very quiet as of late, but rumors have been floating around, with the latest being that Thompson may end up being featured on the forthcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
