Paris Hilton Reveals She Voted For ‘Family Friend’ Donald Trump
Paris Hilton made a shocking revelation about the election. The heiress has since kept quiet about who she voted for in last Tuesday’s U.S. presidential election until now.
On Thursday, Nov. 17, Hilton appeared on an Australian Network Ten’s show The Project to promote her newest fragrance called Gold Rush, according to Variety. When asked if she voted for President-elect Donald Trump in last week’s election, Hilton nervously laughed before confirming the news.
“I’ve known him since [I was] a little girl – so yes,” she admitted.

This is the first time that Hilton has spoken out about her vote. Last week, the starlet was asked by a TMZ reporter at Los Angeles International Airport who she was voting for. Though Hilton said that she voted, she did not reveal who she was voting for.
“My mother told me never to talk about politics or money,” Hilton told TMZ.

However, on Election Day, Hilton may have hinted on social media who she was voting for. As reported via The Sun, Hilton took to Instagram to tease fans about her 2020 campaign along with the phrase, “Make America Hot Again,” which is a play on Trump’s phrase, “Make America Great Again.” In those same posts, the blonde beauty also urged her fans to get out and vote.
Hilton previous told the Daily Telegraph that she didn’t believe Trump would make a good president. At first, she responded with a resounding “no” and then added that he is a “great businessman… he knows what he’s doing.” Then, Hilton changed the subject and said what makes her a great businesswoman.
“I love being an independent woman. I love focusing on my work and business. Everything is going incredibly well; I feel so lucky and proud. I feel like I finally know myself, I feel very in tune with myself, and very grateful. You grow from everything you go through. I guess I have no regrets I wouldn’t be who I am today.”
Hilton and Trump have a lot in common. They both have had their share of successful business ventures and hotel chains. This isn’t the first time that Hilton and Trump have crossed paths in the news. She is a longtime family friend of the politician, who beat out Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in a historic election race last week.
When asked about Trump in her Daily Telegraph cover story, she said that he gave her a start in her modeling career through his agency, T Management.
“He has always been so kind to me, I really like him a lot,” she stated.
Trump claimed he first met Paris – who is good friends with his daughter Ivanka Trump — when she was just 12 years old, and he described her as “beautiful” to Howard Stern.
“The first time I saw her she walked into the room, I said, ‘Who the hell is that?'” Trump admitted in the interview.
“Did you wanna bang her?” Stern asked.
“Well, at 12, I wasn’t interested,” Trump answered. “I’ve never been into that… but she was beautiful.”
And in that same interview, as quoted by The Daily Beast, Trump admitted that he and his wife Melania actually watched Hilton’s sex tape.
Back in 2005, he spoke out to Vanity Fair about Hilton’s sex tape, stating, “I hate what happened with that sex tape, but it made her hotter.”
In a breakdown from gossip column Page Six conducted by Vanity Fair, reporter Chris Wilson recalled a time when he ended up in a taxi cab with Donald Trump, Jr. and Paris Hilton.
“Donald Trump Jr. was leaning over and trying to paw her [Hilton’s] looking at me, holding on to me like a cat holding on to the side of a tree. You know, like, ‘Please help me,'” Wilson wrote. “We actually had this great picture that never run. It was a picture someone took of Paris with this diamond choker with a belly shirt on at the party, and Donny Junior is, like, trying to touch her bronzed, glowing stomach. We subtitled it ‘Art of the Feel.’ But it never ran.”
Back in the day, Hilton was famous basically for being famous and being a reality star when former BFF Kim Kardashian would clean out her closet. At just 19, Hilton signed onto Trump’s modeling agency, and then became one of the biggest reality stars on The Simple Life, and also achieved overnight success thanks in part to her sex tape.
