Jessa Duggar Comments On Joy-Anna Duggar Courting News On Instagram And Seewald Family Blog: ‘Counting On’ Star Still Hides Baby Bump
Jessa Duggar is the youngest of Duggar girls with a baby, so it’s no wonder that she feels connected to her younger siblings. With Joy-Anna Duggar announcing courting news, she and Ben Seewald decided to take it to Instagram and the family blog to show their support and to congratulate the newest couple.
The 24-year-old mother must feel very close to Joy as she was also just 19 when she started courting her now-husband, Ben.
“She’s smack dab in the middle of 8 boys in the family lineup– 2 above, 6 below,” Jessa said of her younger sister Joy on Instagram. “Seems like just yesterday she was just a little tomboy playing with green plastic army men and running around the house fighting nerf gun wars with her bros! But now she’s all grown up… and and she’s a beautiful, godly young lady. Austin, ya got yourself a good one!”
They also posted a rather awkward YouTube video on Seewald family blog, speaking to Joy-Anna and her boyfriend, Austin, about how excited they are to go on a double date with them.
The news of Joy and Austin courting hit Duggar fans hard right after Jinger got married to Jeremy Vuolo. In fact, it was just a couple days after the newest couple uploaded a video from their honeymoon that the 19-year-old Duggar announced on TLC that she is now involved with someone as well.
“I just asked her to enter a courtship with me,” Austin said, according to RadarOnline. “Almost 15 years. I picked this spot because last time we were here together was August 1, 2015.”
“There was a whole group of us that came up,” Joy Anna continued. “And we were just hanging out and it was really late at night, stars were just gorgeous. For me that’s really special, but then just being with him. And then now it’s even more special because it’s where we start our courtship.”
“I hadn’t been here in so long,” she said. “I was not expecting this. So happy.”
It must be quite surreal for Jessa to see all her younger siblings getting married off so quickly. She just was the maid of honor at Jinger and Jeremy’s wedding this November, and she didn’t forget to comment about how beautiful the couple was.
She didn’t mind taking on extra responsibilities for the wedding despite the fact that she was about six months pregnant with her second baby. To her credit, she looked absolutely gorgeous tending to the needs of the event.
“At about 27 weeks along, pregnant Jessa Duggar, 24, showed up to her little sister, Jinger Duggar’s, 22, wedding on Nov. 5 looking fabulous and healthy,” reports Hollywood Life. “The Counting On star, who’s married to Ben Seewald, 21, flaunted her baby bump in a delicate magenta lace gown as she was one of Jinger’s bridesmaids along with their older sister Jill, 25.”

By now, the 24-year-old mother of one must feel very competent juggling multiple things at the same time. In the past month, she not only celebrated her own birthday, wedding anniversary and her baby Spurgeon’s first birthday, but she had been planning Jinger’s wedding and taking care of herself through the second pregnancy. Talk about being occupied!
Having a sweet and thoughtful husband, who took to Instagram and Seewald family blog to celebrate her birthday, must make things easier!
“Jessa Blessa, you are a blessing to us,” Ben wrote on his Instagram. “Happy Birthday! You went from being a high energy fun loving child, to a fun loving, responsible, mature, visionary, virtuous wife and mother. You have inspired thousands of young ladies to seek God, to wait for the one God has for them, and set an example how to dress modern, but modest.”
