Dream Kardashian: Find Out What Kris Jenner Wanted Rob Kardashian To Name His Daughter

When Rob Kardashian’s first child was born, Kris Jenner had a good idea of what she would like the baby girl to be named.

Unfortunately, Rob Kardashian didn’t agree with his mother’s choice for a name. Now, Rob’s famous mother is reportedly disappointed that Rob didn’t name the baby after her.

Failing that, Kris would have liked it if Rob and his fiancee, Blac Chyna, picked a name that started with a K for their little girl. At least, that’s what Hollywood Life is reporting.

“Kris would have loved them to follow tradition and pick a K name for the baby. They told her all along it wasn’t going to happen but she was still holding out hope right up until she saw the birth certificate. Her first choice was Kris, she would have loved it if Rob named his firstborn after her.”

According to a report from InTouch Weekly, Jenner believed that Rob and Chyna should have given baby Dream a name that started with a K in an effort to fall in line with the Kardashian-Jenner branding. Each of Jenner’s five daughters have names that begin with the letter K: Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

The InTouch Weekly report indicated that Jenner was so furious about the name given to Dream Kardashian that a fight broke out just minutes after Dream was born.

“Kris was there and told both Rob and Chyna that the baby’s name needed to start with a K. She said it was all about branding. But they didn’t listen,” the unnamed InTouch source reported. “Kris was yelling, ‘We all agreed as a family it was a K name! I’m so done, I can’t believe you reneged on this,’ and stormed out screaming.”

Blac Chyna gave birth to Dream Kardashian on Thursday.

Dream Kardashian is the sixth baby born to one of Kris Jenner’s children — Kourtney Kardashian has three children and Kim Kardashian has two children. To date, none of Kris’ grandchildren have been given names that start with the letter K, but Dream is the first Kardashian-Jenner grandchild to carry the Kardashian name.

Eventually, Kris reportedly moved past her alleged disappointment that Dream wasn’t given a K name, according to Hollywood Life.

“She’s over her disappointment, the most important thing to her is that the baby is healthy and Rob is happy. Her heart is so full right now, she feels like this baby saved her son’s life. The past few years have been very hard for Kris, she’s seen Rob struggle so much and no matter what she tried nothing seemed to help.”

If rumors are to be believed, Dream’s name isn’t the only thing that has sent Rob’s mom into a tailspin since the birth of Rob’s baby. Recent reports indicate that Jenner also is struggling to go along with Blac Chyna’s mother, Tokyo Toni.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr (via Radar Online), Rob and Chyna have allegedly had trouble with both grandmothers behaving as if baby Dream is one of their own children. The alleged report that Kris demanded naming rights certainly seems to fall in line with the report.

In order to gain control over the situation, Rob and Chyna reportedly asked the Keeping Up With the Kardashians matron and Tokyo to give the new family some space.

“Rob and Chyna just want both of their mothers to cool it for a minute. Kris and Tokyo are acting like Dream is their child, and Rob and Chyna told both of them to just give them space for a couple of days, which they have,” a source told Radar Online.

What do you think of the rumors that Kris Jenner wanted baby Dream to be named after her? Do you think that Kris had the right to request or demand a name that began with the letter K for Rob and Chyna’s baby? Why or why not?
