Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Not Getting Married ‘Anytime Soon’: ‘Bachelor’ Couple Ready To Call It Quits?
Ben Higgins was the most recent Bachelor and found love with Lauren Bushnell. She was the winner of Season 20, which ended with the two being engaged. The two have had their fair share of problems, and the media hasn’t wasted any time playing them up. Higgins seems to be losing interest in where things are heading, and Bushnell is ready to walk down the aisle. The couple tried their hand at another reality show on Freeform, Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?, which has incorporated several people from the Bachelor franchise into a few shows.
Each week, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have guests on their show. The Ferguson twins are giving their take on the couple and what they expect to happen. Emily and Haley will appear on Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? tonight and exclusively talked to US Weekly about what they think about Higgins and Bushnell’s relationship. Both girls believe it will be a while before Ben and Lauren walk down the aisle. They aren’t quite ready for the commitment that marriage brings, and it seems their relationship isn’t as strong as everyone would like to believe.
Both Emily and Haley were in the running to secure Ben Higgins’ love, but they weren’t successful. They took their turn on Bachelor in Paradise and also came up short. Now, they are hosting their own blog while making an appearance on tonight’s Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? and commenting about why they believe the two aren’t ready to walk down the aisle. Both Higgins and Lauren Bushnell still have a lot to work on. There will be a therapy session shown tonight that might lead many to believe this could be the end of the couple.
Being part of the Bachelor franchise comes with a lot of pressure. Before becoming the Bachelor, Ben Higgins was part of the Bachelorette. After choosing Lauren Bushnell as the one, he made the decision to propose. Since there is no wedding date set or planning happening, there is speculation that the couple is on the verge of splitting up. The longer the relationship goes on without moving forward, the less likely they will be to get married down the road. Some of the most successful couples went on to plan their wedding immediately following the engagement. Right now, Higgins and Bushnell are stagnant.
Throughout the course of the season, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have shown fans that there are some issues they are working out. Stepping out into the real world after the Bachelor isn’t always easy. Several couples have tried and failed. The fact that Higgins and Bushnell are working together is a positive sign, but there needs to be more than just good intentions for it to work. Having guests like Emily and Haley Ferguson on the show make it a little less intimidating, but some fans weren’t impressed with the way the show was set up.
Right now, there is no confirmation on whether Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell will be picked up for another season regarding their show. Freeform is still working on program selection, and this was one of the newer shows they tried. Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? didn’t seem to resonate with fans and draw in the majority of Bachelor nation as they had hoped.
It will be interesting to see where things between Higgins and Bushnell go from here. Will they be able to salvage their relationship and ultimately make it down the aisle or will it all crumble under their feet? Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell still have kinks to work out, but they are making the best of what they want in their lives right now.
