‘Teen Mom’ Amber Portwood Shows Off Plastic Surgery Results, As Her Fiancé Finally Comes Clean About His Sobriety
Amber Portwood has never been skinnier. The Teen Mom OG star just displayed her new look — courtesy of some superb plastic surgery — on Instagram, and she is looking better than ever. While Portwood shows off her transformation, what about her fiancé’s sobriety?
In Touch Weekly is reporting that Portwood recently admitted to undergoing plastic surgery in what she termed as a “mommy makeover.” Although some fans hated on Portwood’s decision to go under the knife, her newest post was received a lot of love.
“You look great girl, you’re a true inspiration!” one fan wrote, while another chimed in, “You look fabulous.”
Indeed, it appears as though the plastic surgery did wonders for Portwood’s look, and it’s a good bet that her fiancé, Matt Baier, is more than happy with how things turned out.
Speaking of Baier, the latest episode of Teen Mom OG dug up some of his old struggles with substance abuse. According to 2 Paragraphs, the installment featured a sit-down interview with Portwood and Baier where the question of his sobriety became a hot topic.
When asked about the misconceptions of his sobriety, Baier admitted that he hasn’t been exactly truthful. Baier revealed that he lied about how long he was sober when he first met Portwood.
“I did absolutely exaggerate the length of my sobriety … even with her when I first met her [Portwood],” he stated. “I tried to get sober. I had relapsed a few times.”
Amber quickly noted, “When we got together, he wasn’t sober.”
Despite Baier’s ongoing drug troubles, Portwood claims that she helped him get through it tall. “I took those f**king pills, poured them down the toilet and threw it at him,” she admitted. “You will not be doing this s**t if you’re with me.”
According to MTV, Amber Portwood announced her romance with Baier back in Season 5. The couple clearly went through a lot during the early stages of their relationship, and went on to admit that negative stories in the media didn’t help their early struggles.
In light of all the negative rumors, Baier decided to make things right and come clean about everything. To accomplish this, Baier is releasing a tell-all book that offers fans an inside look at his life.
“This is the perfect time for me to tell the truth about everything in my own words,” he explained. “Maybe it will clear things up with some people — and if nothing else, it’s going to be therapeutic for Amber and I.”
Baier’s book will address a number of different issues, including his pursuit of Farrah Abraham. As fans will recall, Baier’s interactions with Abraham on social media caused an uproar and it seemed like he was trying to get with the former porn star.
“This is the truth about the infamous Farrah tweet,” Baier stated. “I was at a poker game; somebody had mentioned Farrah Abraham’s porn. He said, ‘Let’s see if she has a Twitter.’ There was a tweet of Farrah that said something to the effect of, ‘I’m so sick of the online dating thing’ — I don’t remember what it said. He wrote, ‘Oh Farrah, I’ll take you to dinner sometime.’ On record, I did not write that.”
Of course, not everything in the book is negative. Baier also discussed when he first met Amber Portwood and how their romance kicked off. The book, titled You Have No F**king Idea: The Naked Truth About My Life will be available to purchase on May 2.
Starcasm has released an image of the book’s cover, which includes a naked Baier holding a leather jacket to cover up his sensitive parts. The publisher, Post Hill Press, has released an official synopsis of the book, which reads as follows.
“Forget everything you think you know about the tattooed, gravel-voiced reality TV star. In You Have No F**king Idea, Matt breaks his silence for the first time and sets the story straight by delving into his past, present and future—fully exposing the naked truth about his life—once and for all.”
There’s no telling how well the book will sell, though the Stir is reporting that Portwood and Baier don’t necessarily need the money. In fact, the reality stars are making plenty of cash for their appearance on Teen Mom OG and reportedly pull down over half a million per year.
Portwood made close to $300,000 a year back in 2011. There’s no telling how much she made in 2016, though MTV allegedly doubled her salary in 2015. Given her substantial pay increase, Portwood recently bought a new house in a fancy neighborhood.
We can only hope that Baier is with Portwood for all the right reasons and can keep a handle on his drug problems.
