Biggest DC TV Show Crossover Coming This Month: ‘Supergirl’ Kicks Off The Week-Long CW Crossover Event

The biggest DC TV show crossover event is coming. In fact, this will be the biggest crossover event any network has tried to pull off. It has all be made possible because all the DC shows are now on the CW network and run back to back throughout the week. Supergirl will kick the crossover event off, with The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow picking up the rest of the storyline.

Hints for the crossover have already been shared. The Dominators are going to be the big evil that our crossover heroes are going to have to face. They want to start a war with the metahumans, and it makes sense that The Flash is the place for that. However, the biggest crossover event will start with Supergirl and will be in the final moments of the episode.

Barry and Cisco will appear in Supergirl to ask Kara for help. This has been the expected way to handle the storyline since The Flash and Supergirl have already met. Barry went into Supergirl when it was on CBS last year for an episode, showing that the two universes are different but similarly connected.

The crossover will continue throughout the week, pulling various members of our favorite shows into action. Stephen Amell had already shared that it would take place in Arrow, which will be the third episode on Wednesday night. It will then continue into Thursday with Legends of Tomorrow.

However, Amell did say that the crossover was going to be five episodes long. The theory is that Supergirl will continue the crossover, but it won’t be until the midseason premiere in January 2017. The crossover starts with the midseason finale, which will allegedly include a major bad guy from the Superman-Supergirl world.

According to Comic Book News, Barry and Cisco will tear a hole in the fabric of space. This is likely the way that all our heroes will be together as one. While The Flash can speed his way to another universe and the Legends could possibly get there with their machine, the Green Arrow currently has no option available to him. Tearing the hole is the only realistic option for this with the way the episodes are set up.

What else do we know about the biggest crossover? Well, we have a list of all the characters who will appear. From Supergirl only the title-named character is going to appear. This is likely due to the rest of the shows being set in Earth-1, so she will have to go there. It is unclear if others will appear should the crossover continue into the second Supergirl when it returns after its midseason finale.

From The Flash, we will see Barry and Cisco, as already mentioned. Iris West, Caitlin Snow, and H.R. Wells will also make an appearance. Arrow will see the remaining original characters: Oliver Queen, Diggle, Thea, and Felicity. As for Legends of Tomorrow only Sara Lance, Ray Palmer, Heat Wave, and both halves of Firestorm have been confirmed for the crossover episode.

The characters won’t be working on the same side throughout the five-episode mega crossover event. The Dominators have the ability to control minds, which will mean some of the characters will turn against each other. Will we see the Green Arrow go up against The Flash or Supergirl? Or will we see some of the Legends facing off against each other and former allies?

One of the characters will be shot, but that’s all we know for now. Other characters may show up, but they haven’t been spotted or confirmed just yet. Prison Break fans tuning into Legends will be hoping to see Captain Cold, although Wentworth Miller hasn’t been confirmed for Season 2 until January, likely due to filming the latest season of Prison Break.

The biggest DC crossover is going to start with Supergirl from November 28, 2016, and will continue each night that week.
