Bethenny Frankel Admits She May Have Been Fired From Sirius: ‘I Loved It But…’

Bethenny Frankel is currently staying busy with her business, as she’s launching various new products under the Skinnygirl brand. Bethenny struggled to stay focused last year as she learned that her ex-husband was making their divorce more troublesome that it needed to be. It wasn’t until the judge canceled the spousal support she had been paying for the past four years that Jason Hoppy was able to leave the Tribeca apartment she had purchased for them and completely decorated during the third season of Bethenny Ever After. Now that they are legally divorced, Bethenny is trying to move forward with a positive attitude.

According to a new tweet, Bethenny Frankel is now learning that her bad attitude this summer may have cost her more than a few negative followers on Twitter. Over the summer, Andy Cohen offered her a radio show on SiriusXM under his channel, and she got to open up about her life. It was on this show that she talked about getting divorced and what it felt like walking into her old apartment again once she got the keys.

The show really did give fans an interesting view into her life outside of The Real Housewives of New York, including her personal opinions about her divorce. She opened up about things that fans wouldn’t have heard on the show. Since it has been a while, fans wanted to know if Bethenny Frankel was planning her big return to the radio station.

“Miss u on Sirius. Had to take Radio Andy off my favorites. Chance you’ll come back?” one person wrote to Bethenny Frankel, asking her about her radio show, which was put on hold earlier this summer.

Frankel replied, “I loved it BUT it’s a major time commitment & I may be too polarizing even for Sirius.”

Earlier this summer, Frankel had revealed that her show was placed on hold because it was simply too time-consuming for her at the time. Since she was also filming The Real Housewives of New York and spending her summers in the Hamptons, Andy Cohen had to travel back and forth with the gear to film the live show. But it sounds like SiriusXM may have had other plans after Bethenny started acting out. While they told her that the show would be revisited this fall, her behavior in the Hamptons may have sealed her fate.

“Legit it was the only thing I listen to, so now I’m not going to renew,” one person wrote in response to Bethenny Frankel’s tweet about her being too much for Sirius, while others wrote, “I didn’t realize how bad Andy’s programming was until she was gone” and “meaning she got fired for acting like an animal.”

The last comment refers to an incident that happened in the Hamptons over the summer. During a SiriusXM event where Coldplay played an intimate concert in the Hamptons, Bethenny Frankel splashed some water on some ladies who were acting outrageous and bothering other people at the show. While Frankel claims she only splashed water on people, the ladies said that she had poured water on them. Since this was a Sirius event, it didn’t exactly reflect well on Bethenny Frankel.

But Frankel hasn’t apologized for her behavior, calling the entire thing outrageous. As she pointed out in her tweet, she isn’t going to change for anyone and would rather be herself than follow Sirius’ guidelines. This is what caused her to cancel her talk show, Bethenny, a few years ago.

What do you think of Bethenny Frankel’s tweet about her possibly being too much for Sirius? Will you miss her on the radio?
