Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber Planning A Secret Wedding? Inside Their Plans To End The Back And Forth

Are Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber back together? Gomez is currently undergoing treatment at a rehab facility in Tennessee, yet In Touch Weekly reports that she and Bieber have rekindled their romance.

Is a wedding in their immediate future?

“Justin reached out to Selena a few weeks ago while she was in rehab,” an insider told the outlet. “She was surprised to hear from him, but soon they were talking all the time.”

Things are moving so fast that Bieber and Gomez are already thinking about their future together. Bieber apparently suggested that they move out of L.A., while Gomez is already planning for a wedding.

“Selena was all for it – as long as Justin proposes,” the source stated, adding that Gomez’s family doesn’t approve.

“She’s already talking as if they are engaged. Selena will get married in private, just to show them she doesn’t need their approval.”

According to The Hollywood Gossip, Gomez’s family ordered Bieber to stay away while she continued her rehab treatment. Those close to the singer blamed her mental struggles on Bieber and “recently reached out to Justin and told him to stay far, far away.”

Gomez canceled her summer tour in the wake of her battle with depression and anxiety. She then entered rehab and released a special announcement to fans, blaming her decline in mental health on lupus.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” Gomez shared. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks, and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

Gomez continued, “I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best.”

The cancellation occurred right after Gomez openly criticized Bieber for sharing pictures of Sophia Richie, his girlfriend at the time, on social media. Bieber asked fans to stop commenting about Richie, to which Gomez said he shouldn’t be posting pictures of her online.

Bieber has since broken up with Richie, though he hasn’t been able to escape controversy. Most recently, the pop star put down fans for cheering too loudly at a concert. Of course, fans hit back on social media, which prompted Bieber to release an apology.

“There’s going to be times where I say the wrong thing because I’m human. But I don’t pretend to be perfect and I hope to God that, you know, I don’t say the right thing all the time because if that was the case then I’d be a robot, and I’m just, I’m not a robot,” he stated.

Given their interactions over the summer, it isn’t clear why Selena Gomez decided to rekindle her romance with Bieber. However, Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Gomez believes getting married will solve her problems.

“She thinks if they just bite the bullet and get married, all of their problems will disappear,” a source said.

Gomez and Bieber have not been spotted together since she entered rehab. With the singer still working through mental issues, it is unlikely that any concrete information about her romance with Bieber will come to light.

An inside source also told Gossip Cop that the marriage rumors are not based in reality. Instead, Gomez is concentrating on getting her life back on track and has no plans for getting back with Bieber, at least not at the moment.

That being said, Aces Showbiz is reporting that Gomez might make an epic return during the 2016 American Music Awards. Will Gomez and Bieber cross paths at the highly anticipated event?

“Selena wants her first appearance back in front of her fans to be special and so if she does decide to do the appearance at the AMAs, she will want to do it big with perhaps a dazzling performance or a major announcement,” an insider stated.

Gomez and Bieber both received nominations at the AMAs, though fans can rest assured they won’t see each other. Bieber is not expected to make an appearance due to prior commitments.

“Selena Gomez is relieved that Justin has tour dates on the night of the AMAs,” the insider stated. “With Justin unlikely to make an appearance at the show there is less stress surrounding the event for Selena. Even though Selena will always love Justin, it does make things easier for her knowing her ex-boyfriend will likely not be there.”

Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharaoh are hosting the 44th annual AMAs, which will include performances by John Legend, The Chainsmokers, Bruno Mars, Sting, Lady Gaga, Twenty One Pilots and The Weeknd.

The American Music Awards are scheduled to air Sunday night on ABC.
