Michelle Obama Breaks The Internet With LeBron James And Cleveland Cavaliers In Mannequin Challenge [Video]

She’s a woman that has a higher favorability rating than her own husband and has a tendency to break the Internet whenever she talks. This past week, First Lady Michelle Obama was doing it again by helping the Cleveland Cavaliers win the mannequin challenge reports Yahoo News.

It wasn’t enough that the Cleveland Cavaliers won the 2016 NBA Championships, they wanted to up the ante on their winning streak with the latest Internet trend, the Mannequin Challenge. And who better to enlist on their team as a stand-in but First Lady Michelle Obama.

Yahoo News reports that the Cleveland Cavaliers made a special trip to the White House on Thursday of last week, shortly after First Lady Michelle Obama met with Melania Trump for tea. It was a special honor for the Cleveland Cavaliers by President Obama for their NBA win, and they had a special gift for him too, his own jersey.

When he received the gift, Yahoo reports, President Obama made a reference to Lebron James’ affection for ripping his sleeves off. President Obama asked, “If the sleeves get tight, can I tear these off, can I rip them?” LeBron James said, “I’ll show you exactly how to do it.”

The White House visit wasn’t left at that, as the spirit in the White House picked up somewhat when the Cleveland Cavaliers tried the Mannequin Challenge with First Lady Michelle Obama. All of them were dressed in the way a special visit to the White House where you are honored by the President would be, in suits. But they dove right in anyway.

All athletes posed in stills to try and be the best mannequin, but First Lady Michelle Obama won the Mannequin Challenge in a way that had all outlets calling her the winner. Mashable called it the “best challenge yet” and Metro called it “perfect” just to name a few reactions.

It is a response she is accustomed to, as she is certainly a favored First Lady of our time. She is often considered a Presidential hopeful down the line, although whether that should happen, or if she even wants to, remains to be seen. Twitter memes are frequently made about the topic.

CBS reports that early Wednesday morning after Hillary Clinton lost the electoral college, the hashtag #Michelle202 began to trend on Twitter. Michelle Obama, having done nothing newsworthy but just be herself, trended on Twitter and broke the Internet as she often does. CBS reports that the First Lady’s favorability is 64 percent, even higher than both her husband President Obama and President-elect Donald Trump. A September Gallup poll had Michelle Obama at 64 percent favorability, Donald Trump’s favorability at 33 percent, and a 62 percent unfavorable rating.

Even so, CBS says that the chances of First Lady Michelle Obama returning to the White House as a President-elect herself are slim. President Obama reportedly told a school in Louisiana in January that “no, no, no, no, no” was the response when asked if he could convince Michelle Obama to make a run for the highest office in the land. President Obama also said the following.

“Let me tell you, there are three things that are certain in life: death, taxes, and Michelle is not running for president. That, I can tell you.”

But, First Lady fans need not be disappointed, as President Obama is quick to assure her fans that she will be very active in the public after leaving the White House. As she begins preparing to leave the White House, she has made the cover of Vogue one final time, her third since her husband took office, reports CNN.

The latest issue of Vogue shows the First Lady in the South Lawn of the White House, and she spoke openly with Vogue about life after the White House.

Her focus will be on her family reports CNN.

Michelle Obama will miss some parts of being a First Lady, CNN reports.

“You know, there are little moments. Looking out on the South lawn and the Washington Monument and it had just rained, and the grass was really green and everything popped a little more. It’s so beautiful. And for that moment I thought, I’m going to miss waking up to this, having access to this anytime I want.”

But she’s also looking forward to a normal life, or as normal life as possible with her family. In the White House, she needs to “tune in” all the time, says CNN. But she won’t have that pressure once she leaves.
