WWE News: WWE Hyping Up Possible ‘SmackDown Live’ And WWE ‘RAW’ Trade Following WWE Survivor Series

WWE SmackDown Live has been excellent since the brand split, but could that have to do with someone like The Miz making something interesting happen every week? WWE RAW ratings have started to get lower while the blue brand usually sees increases. The last time WWE did this, they panicked a bit and stole some SmackDown stars for themselves just to help the flagship show out.

One would imagine that if you’re one of the top stars of SmackDown Live, you should wonder about getting a message to see your Commissioner or General Manager each week as you could be traded. One would imagine that someone like The Miz is untradable due to his impressive resume which already included one WWE Intercontinental Championship reign this year alone.

However, due to his issues with Daniel Bryan, the SmackDown Live GM, there is some thought that Bryan may try to trade Miz sometime around WWE Survivor Series. He claims if Miz loses on SmackDown Live this week as he battles for the IC Title, that he would explore trade options for Miz. This may be a win/win for The Miz as he gets to have a new title or a new location possibly. Either way, it is good news for Miz.

The question is, will WWE even go through with this or was it just some crazy tease? According to WWE’s latest video exploring the likes of a trade, it looks like WWE is pushing the idea of it even more than they were before. It is likely that a trade could occur sometime around WWE Survivor Series. They typically only do stuff like this when they are preparing to do something important. The whole goal of highlighting the situation is to bring attention to a possibility that could really occur soon.

Daniel Bryan claims he would love to trade Miz, possibly for Cesaro or Sami Zayn considering that is the two men he continues to name from for the blue brand any time he gets a free chance. We know as of now that if Dolph Ziggler beats Miz, he will face Sami Zayn n Sunday at Survivor Series for the title. Now of course if the WWE RAW member, in this case Sami gets the win, they remain on WWE RAW and the title goes with them.

It truly is a winner take all situation. However, WWE RAW pulled a big one out that may go bad for RAW GM Mick Foley. He is allowing Kalisto from SmackDown Live to challenge Brian Kendrick from RAW for the WWE Cruiserweight Title. If Kaliso happens to win, the entire division goes to Smackdown Live and of course the title comes along with it.

If Daniel Bryan were to somehow see his champion retain and watch Kalisto capture another title for the blue brand, he would obviously be in line for GM of the decade before too long. If that wasn’t enough, though, if a trade occurs with Miz heading to WWE RAW, many would most likely be happy with the result of who comes to replace Miz. The issue is that Miz has done quite well and trading him only hurts the brand as there is a real need for a mid-card heel.

If Bryan trades The Miz, WWE would need to try and turn someone already on the blue brand’s roster or bring someone from the red brand that has heel-like tendencies already, such as a Rusev for example. The problem is that taking someone important from the red brand may not be best, simply because they might need someone eventually to fill a role a departed Superstar would have helped.

Theoretically, WWE would go with the trade now more than ever because of many issues with how the WWE Draft went down. They now have the chance to correct a few problems and it would make sense for them to take care of the issues. Obviously, everyone saw how one-sided things were for the WWE RAW brand, so it would make sense to throw WWE SmackDown Live a bone with a major trade that would help the brand out. We’ll have to wait and see how things go, but it does appear there are at least some talks of a trade and that is very important right now.
