‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Stassi Schroeder Is Having ‘A Lot Of Fun’ Dating

Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder is dating again, but she doesn’t appear to have a new boyfriend. Instead, she’s enjoying her independence after splitting from Patrick Meagher.

During a recent interview, Stassi Schroeder spoke about her life as a single woman in Los Angeles and revealed it “has been a lot of fun” getting back to the dating game.

“I’ve had a really good time. I’m like, actively trying not to do what I normally do, which is just jump right into a relationship,” Stassi Schroeder explained to People Now, according to a report by Bravo TV’s the Daily Dish on November 10.

When fans first met Stassi Schroeder on Vanderpump Rules Season 1, she was dating her co-star and fellow SUR Restaurant employee Jax Taylor. However, after it was revealed that Taylor was unfaithful to her, the couple went through a messy split. Schroeder eventually moved on from SUR and relocated to New York City, where she began living with Meagher.

For months, Stassi Schroeder remained in the Big Apple and continued with her relationship with Meagher. Then, despite reports claiming she would no longer be appearing on Vanderpump Rules, Schroeder returned to Los Angeles with Meagher at her side and began to film for the reality series’ third season.

While Stassi Schroeder rejoined the show in a limited role and was seen from time to time, she wasn’t listed as a full-time cast member, and her relationship with Meagher was kept off the show. The following season, Schroeder returned to her part-time role on the show. As the season began, she was seen opening up about her troubles with Meagher as she moved out of the home they once shared and into the apartment of her longtime friend and co-star Kristen Doute.

Now, Stassi Schroeder seems to be living solo as she and her co-stars are seen in the fifth season of Vanderpump Rules.

“I actually didn’t know how independent I was, and that’s been really cool [to discover],” she shared. “When you’re just alone all the time, you really do learn that you can handle s**t.”

Around the start of filming on Vanderpump Rules Season 5, Stassi Schroeder confirmed that after months of on-and-off dating with Meagher, she and her longtime boyfriend had called it quits. In addition to a tweet confirming the news, Schroeder spoke of her split during an episode of her podcast, Straight Up with Stassi.

“I’ve been trying to find the will to do this Podcast because I’m just sad, and I really don’t have anything to say that’s just uplifting,” Stassi Schroeder explained to listeners, according to a report by Reality Tea.

“I really love Patrick, and I’m in love with Patrick, and I think he’s a wonderful person. He’s funny and smart and everything I would want in a person, but we can’t get it together. We don’t not fight,” Stassi Schroeder continued to her sister, Georgi, who appeared on her podcast series as a guest. “He thinks I’m selfish, I think he’s judgmental. Then it just escalates… We argue all the time. It’s not about getting rid of Patrick, it’s about getting rid of this routine. We fight all the time.”
